I wanted to bring some roots reggae dub vibes in this one. It's almost like a journey through my life seeing as how I receive a lot of my inspiration from my birthplace of Jamaica. 

The alto flute samples are my father, Jonathan Arthur, and were recorded many years ago by yours truly using a Blue Baby Bottle condenser mic. Had a lot of fun messing with a sampler to create new riffs and editing existing ones, and the samples used are available in my sample pack, World Music Vol. 1, via @prosamples: https://prosamples.com/products/world-music-sample-pack-vol-1/

Stepping into the kaleidoscopic realm of mid-tempo psychedelia, Israeli electronic producer Soru merges technical psytrance influences and groove-centric Western flavors in his debut EP, ‘Cracks.’

Laced with musical elements drawn across time and tempo, this high-spirited collection tickles the mind with its exhilarating blend of low-end rhythms and classic psychedelic progressions while exploring the more luminous sides of experimental bass music. Soru is the brainchild of Yair (Sol) Solomon. Jerusalem raised, Tel Aviv based, veteran of the global Psy Trance movement and first label DJ (aka Nomolos) for the Australian Zenon Records.
