When my thirst for life is hindered by the built-up layers of protection, the fabrication of an illusive self decaying at an ever increasing rate, the chances of being happy become thin. No matter how beautiful, safe and sweet my days may look like, my shattered being is longing to be whole. As I worn myself out for a long time, the wounded being resting underneath the surface started banging on the door, gasping for air, in an attempt to be heard, to be accepted and step into the light without fear, to love and be loved. 

I am brewing my own recipe for happiness; a little of bit of joy, a little bit of sorrow, a pinch of madness, sprinkled with humour.
In the end, I don't want to take myself too seriously. So here it goes, a new album with its quirks, tasty sounds and sweet grooves. I hope you enjoy it !

The initial idea for this track started in Israel, more than 2 years ago, it lived with me in Portugal, traveled with me to the US and was finalized in Goa (India).
I played versions of it at Tipper&Friends (Rendezvous), Infrasound Festival, The Blackbox, Psy-Jelly (my first ever gig with a live flute, Bristol UK), Ozora Festival, Desert Bass Festival and more..
It took its time to unfold to get to its current state, the final seal was the intro I made while staying in Goa, I had the right atmosphere and my Bansuri flutes with me, and that was it.
I feel it is like that with any type of creation, it unfolds on its own when u take the right steps, each creation takes its own path and time frame to unfold and hopefully in the end it makes some souls (and bodies) dance when its ripe. 🌟

Unfoldance

This is the second track from my new album ✨Memory Trails✨

This tune is more bass oriented, I tried to create a light dreamy vibe but at the same time to keep it also bass heavy, I like this contrast.
It was mostly done while I was staying in Portugal, and was finalized in North California. 

I usually find it hard to name tunes, when u start a project and the session is done u need to save it and give it a name, so I usually go with the most intuitive thought that comes up after that first session, it might be a certain vibe or energy or a specific feeling during that session.
So this temporary, intuitive title usually is the seed for the final title, in this case it stayed all the way from the initial session until the end.
One of the official meanings of ‘Junk’ is ‘old or discarded material that considered useless or of little value’, a lot of ‘modern’ electronic music is sample based, most of the beats and many other elements are samples that being resampled, reused, processed, than resampled again and again, so if u hear the initial sample it might sound like ‘junk’ but after this resampling process it evolves and becomes something new, hopefully something with value, hence ‘BeatJunx’ :::)

This is the third track from my new album ✨Memory Trails✨

This one is a Psy-Dubby track, playful and chubby like a Hippo running around, bouncing, missing a step, almost falling over but quickly back on track again.

I always loved Dub and Psy-Dub, and been combining dubby elements in my music since the beginning of this project. There’s something hypnotic, positive and satisfying in this genre, like a distilled minimalism which has all the basic ingredients for positive vibes.
In its purest, simplified form, or in its more complex full spectrum psychedelic iterations, it always brings an inner peaceful feeling which, for me, missing a lot these days.

Traditional dub music, born in 1970s Jamaica, has had a profound influence on modern electronic music through its use of heavy basslines, echo, reverb, and minimalist sound design. Treating the studio as an instrument, laying the groundwork for remix culture, live FX performance, and producer-driven artistry. These techniques shaped genres like dubstep, techno, house, drum & bass, and ambient music especially in their use of space, sub-bass, and experimental sound manipulation. Dub’s legacy lives on in the textures, structures, and performance styles of today’s electronic soundscape.

Hyper Hippo

The fourth track from my new album 'Memory Trails' ✨

I started this tune after I came back to Portugal from the US almost a year ago, I played at Tipper & Friends Rendezvous (Suwannee), Infrasound Ferstival and The Black Box, this little tour sparked a lot of inspiration and was absolute 🔥. I landed just a day before my birthday, as a present from my friends there I got a ‘Micro Freak’ synthesizer which is a super fun little synth made by Arturia. I started playing around and made this dreamy sequence on the Micro Freak and this is how this tune started, with inspiration from my journey in the US infused with lots of Bassy vibes.
