q. pls introduce yourself

>I’m Mim from MitamineLab, a contemporary sound archive and curatorial project from Mexico City, also a radio show. I’m an art historian/cultural manager and I currently have two jobs, as a studio manager and as a project manager.

q. is there a story behind the mix? how did it come together?

>I just tried to evoque the sensation of living at Mexico city, pretty eclectic and unpredictable. I truly believe that Mexico City is a land of dream where emotions are always running high.

q. in your opinion, what would be the ideal circumstances to enjoy your mix?

>You can enjoy it wherever and whenever you want, maybe in the morning while drinking a good coffee, or even in a sunny afternoon with the company of a good shot of mezcal.

q. describe a favourite object in your living room...

>Is not an object per se, but I love that my living room has a view to the garden.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?

>Yeah, I’m working in some music and my first EP ever. Hope to have something ready soon :)

Jox Aduriz was born in Oiartzun, a small town very close to San Sebastian, Basque Country, 1977.
He lived almost all of his childhood and adolescence in the darkest and grayest time of his homeland for political reasons.
From a very young age he began to join the Punk scene and began to collect vinyl records.
At the end of the 90s he had his first contact with electronic music, especially Detroit Techno, and without leaving his roots behind, he began to mix very dark and acidic music with a lot of bass.
In 2001 he spent a long time in Amsterdam, participating in several raves and the famous Robodock festival.
He says he's not a DJ. Simply addicted to music and vinyl records.
He is enthusiastic about live music and appreciates, above all, in electronic music that it is noticeable that it mixes a person, not a machine, with the errors that this may entail. Perfection does not exist!
He currently lives in Barcelona and has recently started trying to achieve his own sound by producing.

3kAL DRoID MoDuL3 (@3kal-droid-modul3), formerly known as David Sánchez, is a passionate vinyl collector from Madrid with a rich collection dating back to the late 90s. He crafts mixes blending various musical genres, influenced by techno, electro, and EBM sounds, always honoring 90s club culture. In the 2000s, known as DJ Dave, he co-founded the Area EBM collective, leaving his mark on Madrid's club scene alongside artists like Arcanoid, Cristian Wunsch, and DJ Pepo. Now, he's back under a new alias that reflects his love for both machines and futuristic music with an over 3-hour podcast that not only displays his skills and extensive knowledge but also embodies the respect and profound passion he brings to music. Andreas started djing in 1995, creating mix tapes and playing drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene from 1997 to 2000 under the moniker "Tygre." Inspired by the darker sounds of electro, techno and drum and bass Tygre returns from a long hiatus to share his love for the music and art of mixing. Andreas currently resides in San Francisco and studies computer science.
In this mix, dark and stormy electro twists through a landscape of distorted bass and resolves in a post vortex calm.
