Relocated from DC Phil joins Texture Summit after many late-night hangs, renegades, and DIYs. His sound is driven by Detroit/Chicago/Hip-Hop influences with his touch of deep grooves that make a dancefloor move like no other. Philco continues to thrive via his productions; with releases on Good Buddies Records, Steel City Dance Discs, Inhale Exhale, and Fresh Take Records. Expect a rise in his catalog in the coming year.

TSCAST013 - Philco (Texture Summit)

For the second episode we invited Sam_ @samthetard. Sam is an Industrial/transportation designer and DJ based in Chicago. He attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where he studied transportation design. During that time, Sam fell in love with the city and became influenced by the electronic scene and music history that Detroit is known for. 

Sam's previous mixes for platforms like Far Blue caught our attention because of the interesting track selections and atmosphere he knows how to put down in his mixes.

Some words from Sam: ''This mix is a snapshot of my personal music taste and mixing style. I always look for tracks with lots of texture and atmosphere, while using long mixes to create something seamless and enveloping.
