This mix is inspired by Celino, Seth, SOPHIE, HudMo, Rubadub, Dan B, Joe Shabz, Marie, Perez, Danse Atmos, old Ken Collier mixes, Skream, The M Bros, Detroit and of course Glasgow City... and dedicated to Jamie Roy ❤️

Dam Swindle christen Brooklyn’s newest outdoor dance floor with an eclectic blend of summertime grooves and a surprise appearance from vocalist Haile Supreme. Rooted in deep house but certainly not restricted by it, the Dutch curators take us through a sonic museum of Heist Recording’s deep catalog and their upcoming LP, “Open”. At last year’s Opening Party at Unsound Kraków, DJ E (aka Chuquimamani-Condori) showcased their distinct hyper-charged sound. Narrowing it down to genres is pretty impossible, but there are fragments of Andean folk, cumbia and country music ballads, often carefully layered with a bunch of soundboard-effects. The result is a classic DJ E set. Many of the tracks played here were recently included in the almost 2-hour long collection Edits, which you can pick up on Chuquimamani-Condori’s Bandcamp page.

Bio:
Zeu5 is a DJ, music producer and live performer from Poland, immersed in the sounds of Deep House, Dub Techno and Deep Tech. A passionate vinyl enthusiast, he’s known for soulful selections and hypnotic grooves. He also embraces progressive and classic styles of house, as well as techno, weaving them into his sets in a thoughtful and unconventional way. His productions have been released on labels such as Crossfade Sounds, Gentleman Music, Otake Records, Runa Records, Routless Records, and Vidno Airlines – with several of these also appearing on vinyl, making them especially aligned with his sonic philosophy and aesthetic. Zeu5 has performed at numerous clubs across Poland, including in Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Toruń, at the Uszanowanko Festival in Kraków, and at Audiobar in Płock, his hometown. Since 2021, he has also been producing and performing downtempo music under the alias Organica, and since 2022, he’s been part of the Polish DJ podcast collective Stimmulus. His YouTube channel, followed by tens of thousands of subscribers, is home to his original DJ set series: Pure Vinyl Set, Good Vibes Only, and the exploratory Zeu5 Explores – all serving as a space to build musical narratives and share emotions through sound.

Mantissa Mix 372: Zeu5

The first thing you notice in Beau Beaumont’s Delayed with mix isn’t aggression or volume, but control. Each layer slots into place with a clarity that leaves no room for drift. It’s techno in high resolution - grooves stretched to their limit, shifts measured with care, a ride that never collapses under its own weight.

That clarity comes from experience. Years spent running one of the UK’s most forward-thinking parties, building an independent label Meine Nacht, and diving into modular synthesis have sharpened Beau’s ear for pacing and design. Her work ranges from NTS residencies to commissions for Nike and the WDR Studio for Electronic Music. Still, it’s this same multidisciplinary edge that you hear here, surgical mixing, grooves that never stagnate, and a sense of movement that feels both human and machine. This is propulsion without fatigue: a set built to carry you, wherever you are.

"Having met a delightful Mantissa representative at Field Maneuvers last summer, it’s taken us a hot minute to plot some suitably noteworthy selections and get something in the Tascam. Hopefully it was worth the wait.

This was recorded on a Friday night, as we skulled back some vinho verde and dug through the collection together one last time, before one of our residents leaves this iteration of Digger’s HQ for foreign shores. After enjoying a summer of harder fare at festivals, we took things a little bit deeper and darker than normal, but the mix comes out the other side with the usual Digger’s Paradise style intertwined throughout.

Next up in the 10 year celebrations, runa & asha lead us through the bass-driven wilderness with a live recording of their excellent three hour opener from Montreal's Exposé Noir.

"This 3-hour recording is taken from our opening set at an Exposé Noir day party in Montreal last October. It captures a pivotal moment in our musical journey. We’ll always have a deep love for bass (and it’s definitely present here), but this set marks the moment when we began exploring new textures, emotions, and modes of storytelling.

Starting with slower tempos and syncopated rhythms, the mix moves through atmospheric tracks with sentimental breaks before closing with rolling, bass-heavy, percussive, techno-adjacent sounds. This set reflects how our approach to DJing has evolved—layering rhythms, basslines, and tonal elements to create something fresh and engaging for the dance floor.

For us, this mix is a snapshot of our growth and experimentation. Hope you enjoy xx"

"I’ve really stretched myself this year - not just with music, but with work, life and travel too. So for this mix, rather than chasing new tracks or playing my latest material, I decided to dig into some older playlists I made between 2020-2023. It was super grounding to rediscover music I haven’t played in a while. The mix also features a few tracks from my label, as well as some of my own older work. In the end, it felt grounding to record a mix like this!! Enjoy!"
