QRUK hero Detwiler is back with his hugely unique style for QRUK008. Having seen amazing success with his previous release 'Belter Skelter' for 006, we had to get Detwiler back in the studio pumping out something new for us.

With his first remix on the label, we welcome our biggest name yet, 9TRANE. Norwich based and Claptrap founder, 9TRANE is already a big name in the UK Bass and breaks scene. His Back to 91' Mix of Detwiler's Made It Thru, uses classic breaks sampling with piano stabs, to pay homage to the UK Rave scene of the 90s.

Today marks 1 year since we posted our first guest mix. Big love to @arfasounds for taking the time and launching this platform with us 12 months ago 💜

To switch it up a little from the usual, we’re moving away from our recent UKG mixes this week to bring a wild genre mashup from the man like @nova_cheq 🔥 

Nova Cheq has come through with a heavy 100 - 130 mix that moves through multiple sonics and levels of energy. The selections move from industrial to grime, to dancehall and funky. Plus with a few wild cards throw into the bag, this one is unlike anything we’ve dropped before. As always with SOLITUDE mixes, there’s a few unreleased tunes here. This time from @djspit.to’s label @rascals_030. Expect these tracks to get pressed with @hardwax_official as well. Mark of quality each and every time. 

He’s an artist who resides in the more hardcore side of the scene, capable of brewing up proper party fuel. Legit his sets are always fuckin wild. Not often for the faint hearted, his music transcends most style brackets and is often a representation of his musical influences over the years, with nods to the original 90’s rave scene, jungle, breaks and techno.

Deffo check his release that just dropped on @sherelle_ & @naina_ldn’s label @hooversoundrec. It’s a combined force with @samurai_breaks. Five outrageously good pieces of work referred to as “Pure Party Fuel, Ghetto House Styled Jungle-Juke Pounders” - these one will smash up the dance 100% 

He’s also had a solo release on Hoover Sound that dropped in May last year. Absolutely worth checking, 5 more stompers with the title track FUK.GOV.UK doing what it says on the tin in hard dance party music format 🔥

This time we've invited a Hyperdome pal - The hella sick DJ, producer and boss of NuKvlture - Noizy Wilson.

Noizy Wilson is a producer/DJ based in Belgrade, Serbia, producing music in a variety of genres. He is the owner of the label Nu Kvlture, which is dedicated to pushing newcomers within the breaks and bass music, and a host of a radio show "Shadow Realm" on komrad.net . Bristol to Belgrade, Bogota to Brisbane.

His first releases were on Halloween Beat Cypher by Digital Infiniti, dark Burial-inspired garage on Samsara Beats huge "Isolation" VA and the smooth Chicago Juke vibes on Budapest Juke release.
You can hear his production as well on 2 Nu Kvlture massive compilations and solo EP, NeoWorkz, inspired by juke/neogrime/jungle/trance and techno which was released in 2021.
On May 7th 2022, he released "PATHFINDER" EP that featured many of his worldwide friends and collaborators such as Goldman, SlowRolla,Jeune Sorcier and Singularnost.The ep was full of high tempo hybrids, mixing old school flavours with modern, creating a very melodic expirience.
Many of his tunes were played on radios and mixes all across the world, from Rinse FM to Helmore Radio, gaining support from acts such as Pluralist, Krush Juke, Gina Lucid Juice and Polo Lilli, who featured Strantz,Strantz in a best of 2021 tracks mix. Some of his tracks scored premieres on valuable soundcloud/youtube channels such as InternetGhetto, CRUDE Berlin,Seek Sick Sound, Filth Inc., Feedback Recordings,Pierre B,Strictly Nu Skool blog, losprimerosVIIVI and GhostReporter

For episode 62, Shannon speaks to KYRUH and WTCHCRFT, a DJ duo who has been blowing up dance floors in NYC with their fiery DJ sets.

Whizzing through trashing Techno, Hard House and booming Electronic vocal samples, KYRUH and WTCHCRFT light up the dance floor with their high energy.  Every time the pair manage to offer up something unique and their creative synergy feels timeless and unbound. 

KYRUH and WTCHCRFT have been devoted to the rave since high school and college, where they happened to meet and form an inseparable friendship. Now big things are exploding for the DJ duo. After their electric performance at Berlin's popular radio station HOR, the besties have been booked and busy, and they’re actually gearing up for another Euro tour. 

What's the secret to their undeniable sauce? Shannon spoke to KYRUH and WTCHCRFT about their early DJ beginnings. The pair walked through how they plan their electrifying sets, and the duo share some exciting developments about their buzzing DJ careers.
