À quoi ressemble la scène électronique argentine de nos jours, on s’est bien sûr tous posé la question, et ce n’est manifestement pas notre invité du jour, Mystery Friend, originaire de Buenos Aires, qui va pouvoir nous aider. En effet, bien qu’âgé de seulement 24 ans, Mystery Friend cultive dans ses mix pleins d’énergie, de sensualité et de sueur, la nostalgie des sons club d’une époque charnière qu’il n’a pas connue, les années 80 et le début des années 90, les origines de la house, de la techno et de la synth pop. Il dig, mais il produit également en duo avec sa copine Galanjah sous le nom de Romance Layers, tout est comme d’habitude sur BandCamp.

Mystery Friend est également fondateur de Fusion Dance, une émission de radio et une soirée mensuelle. C’est d’ailleurs lors de l’une de ces soirées qu’il a enregistré le mix de ce soir, sur vinyle, un voyage dans les classiques house des années 80 et la fête qui va avec.
