𓂀 @just-b-4 has refined a diverse palette & style which is unquestionably, uniquely her own. As an accomplished DJ, radio host, vocalist, published writer, & promo label head, with no shortage of curveballs in her repertoire, she has shared decks with heavyweights like Martin Roth, Cubicolor, John Monkman, Sebastien Leger, Edu Imbernon, Tim Engelhardt, Roy Rosenfeld, Sascha Braemer, BLANCAh, Miss Melera, Olivier Weiter, David Hohme, & Sasha & Digweed at Montreal’s Igloofest. 

𓂀 juSt b is the host of a monthly show 'Undercurrents' on DIFM and manager of the global community & channel @getting-deeper With 3 European tours in 2019, she released her debut EP last Dec. with 2 vocal tracks and is looking forward to 5 more releases slated for the first half of 2022.

𓂀 Last summer [2020] I saw juSt b perform at a secret party nestled in a lush forested oasis by the lake in Toronto. It was pure magic, as we all danced under the glistening stars, moon, Venus and even Mars came out to play. In that moment, the music brought us together once again, as we danced in nature which made us feel connected, with smiling faces all around.

The story starts in 2013 where a longing to share avant-garde music culminated in the creation of the channel - an outlet intent on showcasing nothing but the most distinctive four to the floor sounds. Mia Mendi has relentlessly evolved moment to moment, both stylistically and conceptually. 

Fast-forward to present day and the name now represents an artistic duo obsessed with uniting melancholic ambience, loaded drums and modulating melodic leads. This is esoteric production beautifully sewn together with the threads of bedlam - made to move you through a string of sombre dreams.

Mia Mendi have releases on labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Lauter Unfug, and Rhetorical. With forthcoming music on Selador. The music they produce has received world-class support from the likes of Sasha, OC & Verde and Rafael Cerato. Mia Mendi have taken the Beatport charts by storm with 2 top 10 releases and 9 tracks overall in the top 100, as well as being featured in several Beatport Best New Progressive and Melodic House & Techno charts.
