I sink comfortably into the couch, eagerly turning on my favorite music playlist. The delicate, undulating sounds instantly fill the room, enveloping me in a soothing, almost hypnotic atmosphere. I close my eyes, allowing the music to guide my thoughts to a different realm.

I gradually relax, breathing in time with the calm, pulsing beats. I feel the tension leaving my body as my mind clears of everyday worries. This time of solitude and contemplation is an oasis of calm, letting me escape the hustle and bustle. I fully surrender to the mood of the music, losing myself in its soothing waves.

About Artist:

Alej Ch is a producer and DJ, known as one of the prominent figures in the electronic music scene. He stands out for his unique ability to blend Organic, Deep, and Progressive House sounds. His music has been released on renowned labels such as Warpp, Songuara and Melody 
of the Soul, among others. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for music and, being self-taught, he trained himself in piano, guitar, and music production, which allowed him to forge a distinctive personal style. About Artist:

Born and raised in Reykjavík, Bjorn Salvador is a producer / dj hailing from Iceland. Bjorn's passion for music is inspired by his Icelandic roots, where he draws upon the country's stunning natural beauty and rugged terrain for his compositions.

Bjorn and his cousin, Leon S. Kemp started Nordic Voyage Recordings in 2019. Since then Bjorn has been releasing his music on Nordic Voyage, Dialtone, 3rd Avenue, The Purr, Everything Will be OK, Be Adult and other labels.

The Amsterdam based duo Analog Effect make their return on MNL with a full EP after they've recently debuted on the label with the release of their song 'Bee Rising' on the 'Seasons | Winter 2017' edition. Those based in Holland might also know them under their Schaamteloos DJ's alter ego under which Jan & Branko have played at numerous festivals and clubs in the countries' capitol for many years. Now under the Analog Effect moniker the guys are turning heads in the progressive house scene with recent releases on LuPS Records, Click Therapy Recordings and now.. MNL.

Kabat EP sees the duo explore various avenues of the progressive house spectrum on the three fresh- and original sounding productions, often taking a traditional approach but giving it some modern day flair- and production trickery, but always with an eye for the dance floor and an ear for the underground.

They explore the unknown to keep their spirits fresh. 
They evolve to stay credible for themselves.
They create music just because they have to.

This month marks the return of Steyoyoke veteran Dahu to the label; ever-evolving, subby and percussive, Dahu's 5th EP 'Hesia' sees him pulling out all his signature stops, from ultra low frequency kicks to melancholic synths drenched in warmth. The EP features two original tracks, 'Hesia' and 'From Whence We Came'.

'Hesia' is an exercise in minimalism, developing subtlely until culminating in a ferocious drop layered with resonating mids, a few well chosen percussive elements and a gut pounding kick meant to be felt as well as heard. A heart wrenching lead and bassy resonators combine to hover over the track, dousing it with emotion.

'From Whence We Came' features a complex percussive groove plowing relentlessly forward. The sub-laden kick drum barely lets the listener come up for air, while the lead plays an enticing repetitive mantra, transporting the track into an unexpectedly melancholic dimension, and forging an instant afterhours classic.

As a long term Steyoyoke artist, Dahu has forged his own sound within the sphere of Ethereal Techno. Building on his reputation for sub-heavy melancholia, the 'Hesia' EP showcases old and new aspects of the German producer's unique sound alike.
