NYC event brand ZERO launch their new label arm with a superb new EP from German live artist Jacob Groening that comes with remixes from Lovecraft and unders & Noraj Cue. It comes after years of releasing on other vital outlets and establishing himself as a unique voice in the house underground.

Opener Nican feat. Joy Tyson is a deep and spiritual house roller. The lush drums and hits sink you into a cavernous groove and majestic, wispy synths and percussion add the vital detail. Timo slows right down and has finger clicks and a rugged synth riff over the lazy, loveable drums. It's a super nice vibe thats as thoughtful as it is deep.

Timo (Lovecraft Remix) is more upright, but stays just as deep, taking you late into the night on distant synth smears with a rising lead occupying the mind. Jacob Groening - Nican (unders & Noraj Cue Remix) is the most direct of them all, but the airy and angelic vocals keep it heady and spiritual.

This is a tasteful EP of richly rewarding deep house.

Common Occupation makes his return on Manual Deep half a year after debuting on the label with his well received 'Bloom Room EP'. Surely many of you have been eagerly waiting for this one!

The release kicks off with 'Fondor' a delicate and warm modern piece of electro, whilst on the b-side you'll find 'Society', a minimalistic deep house cut. Music for the mature listener right here. Quality stuff.

Cheema — derived from the Italian "cima" (ˈʧima), as in “cima di rapa,” “cima di cola,” “cima di Bitonto,” etc. — serves as the human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia to the club, utilizing electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a DJ, progressing to a producer, and eventually becoming a live performer with advanced sound management technologies.
The acquisition of new live techniques has enabled Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has resulted in diverse musical proposals spanning various genres. Cheema extends the voice of Apulia worldwide with care and special attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate equilibrium exists on the spectrum between experimentation and a dancefloor atmosphere.
The debut release of Cheema's new project is titled “Jis Matt,” a deep, Balearic-inspired House track characterized by an almost meditative atmosphere and a touch of disco. Renowned Italian producer 1979, known for his releases on fryhide or Kompakt, has crafted a fantastic chords-driven remix. This remix seamlessly transitions the original track from a laid-back beach scenario to an energetic club setting.

Between his KELLER label, his work as a producer, and becoming a visual artist, ACUD has managed to come up with the most famous song lyrics of Berlin’s electronic music scene - think “Matjesfilet” or his most recent grocery hopper “Supermarkt”.
The “Jonathan” single deviates a little from those releases, with two undulating Downtempo tracks. Instead of Lasse’s famous vocals you’ll hear soothing melodies and warm synths (“Jonathan”) and rather dark bits of Disco in slowmotion (“Kaltblüter”). What can we say? ACUD is still the king of Deep Space Disco.
