Known for their classy take on progressive house, Transpecta branch out into the world of the compilation mix market with the considerable talents of Dmitry Molosh at the controls. ‘Impressive Progressive’ is a snapshot of Transpecta’s incredible back catalogue and some unreleased premiers with stand out tracks from label favourites, East Cafe, Darko De Jan and Rick Pier O’Neil. 

One of the stars of the recent progressive house renaissance is most assuredly Dmitry Molosh. The Belarusian globe-trotting DJ and genre-defining producer has been making ever-larger waves for many years now from his rapier-sharp musical focus. Ever the consummate professional, Dmitry brings a lifetime of passion and the studio skills of someone twice his age to bare on Impressive Progressive, compiling and mixing nothing short of a perfect journey through sound. 

The beauty of Dmitry’s own music is in its elegance. Long drawn out passages of percussion making way for glistening melodies which totally captivate you. With this mix, he has explored those ideas fully; playfully marrying beats and melodies into one cohesive and dramatic whole. Opening with East Cafe’s epic ‘Only I Am To Blame’ Molosh patiently shifts through the gears drawing the listener deeper into the Transpecta rabbithole. Highlights come thick and fast, including Tripswitch’s incredible remix of ‘The Way You Left Us’, Dmitry’s own reworking of Darko De Jan’s Undisclosed Ambitions and Rick Pier O’Neil’s peak-time monster, ‘Square Garden’.

Paul Hazendonk and his Manual Music record company are an essential part of the underground electronic music landscape. The kind and gentle Dutchman has been active as a label boss, deejay, and producer for nearly two decades, during which he performed in excess of 35 countries and has worked for labels such as Diynamic, Sudbeat, Einmusika, Kittball, Hope Recordings and Sony / Epic amongst countless others.

His independent record company Manual Music serves as a home for various record labels, several of which are headed by Paul himself. Deeply rooted in the electronic music scene, his company also takes care of the digital distribution-, label management-, promo- and publishing needs for numerous labels and artists.

In the earlier stages of his carreer, Paul honed and perfected his craft as a deejay through recidencies at various clubs, including the legendary Las Palmas in Rotterdam. He got asked to play his first international gigs aged only 19 years old, and hasn’t looked back ever since, considering the fact that he’s performed anywhere from North America to Asia and from Australia to througout the whole European continent.

Although over the years he’s perfected his own distinctive sound, it’s not easy to pin Paul down and stick any one particular genre tag on him. He's an allround music aficionado first and foremost, who embraces the idea of a classic deejay, having total musical- and artistical freedom. His sound is characterized by warm basslines and melodies, but always with an infectious drive, often blending elements of both house- and techno music, also not shying away from the occasional sidestep into breakbeats or electronica. 

Paul Hazendonk plays his DJ sets in the same way he’s running his record company; based on gut feel rather than being boxed in by fixed genres and trends. One thing is for certain: the vibe this true musical connaisseur radiates through his productions and deejay sets is always overflowing with true passion and love!

Kevin Huizing AKA Budakid is a Berlin based music producer/dj. Coming from a very musical family, it was only a matter of time before young Budakid started playing an instrument of his own. As a drummer in a drum ensemble, the soon-to-be producer/dj got his first taste of beats and he wanted more. Having a good sense of rhythm helped him as a fledgling dj. Before long, Budakid landed his first residency in one of Utrecht’s most popular clubs. Although he wasn’t of legal age, several clubs asked him to perform and Budakid showed his promise by measuring up to peers twice his age.

But as it happens with a lot of dj’s, only dj’ing wasn’t enough for his own musical output. So Budakid sought out to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Influenced by the likes of Joris Voorn, Stimming, Trentemøller and acts such as Massive Attack, Radiohead and Caribou, the Dutchman developed a very melodic style of his own. A typical Budakid song has floating melodies, the right set of chords and some strong, energetic vibes all mashed together. All this made him a crowd favorite at festivals like Tomorrowland, Fusion Festival, Sonar Festival, Feel Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event and SonneMondSterne and clubs such as Katerblau (DE), Sissyphos (DE), Watergate (DE), Cafe D’anvers (BE), Thuishaven (NL) and Melkweg (NL).

His music has been already supported by heavyweights such as Sasha, Joris Voorn, Guy J, Kölsch and Deadmau5. That’s something that didn’t happen overnight. Budakid’s tracks have been released on respected labels like Einmusika, Last Night On Earth, All Day I Dream, Get Physical and Audiomatique. Well-known blogs and magazines including Deep House Amsterdam, FAZE Magazine and VICE’s Thump are very enthusiastic about the producer’s tracks. So it’s safe to say Budakid isn’t just another kid on the block. Already regarded as a more than reliable producer/dj by his peers, nothing stands in the way of Budakid to become one of the greats.

I wanted to record a set for Sarah & Yes Queen as unfortunately, during the early stages of my career I was affected by workplace bullying, and so can really relate to and have a lot of compassion for those who have and continue to suffer. Music with intention behind it can be such a powerful healer. 

I also wanted to appreciate and acknowledge just how much of her beautiful heart & soul, Sarah has and will continue to put into this extremely valuable "Revolution of Kindness in the workplace". 
Yes Queen embodies a person - an ambitious trailblazer who is kind, compassionate and supportive of others.", Urban dictionary defines Yas(Yes) Queen as, “anything applause-worthy, fierce". These are only a few of the adjectives I would use to describe it's founder Sarah Fritz. I would like to add passionate, positive, powerful, inspirational, caring, nurturing, funny, intelligent, considerate, courageous, you get the idea, she is a QUEEN in her own right :)

Coming for a Musician family was at the young age of 17 when Aracil moved from the north of Spain to London, and discover his passion for the electronic dance music, making, that same year, his first appearances as a Dj within the local scene. In 2012, Aracil moved to Ibiza, and start to work on his first productions.

A mixture of energy and harmonies defines Aracil personal sound, which rides between the melancholy and euphoria that distinguish a very unique style of production, as he is always trying to push forward the boundaries, and tell a story with every song. His style as a DJ ranges from pure deep house to melodic techno, with many influences of music from Berlin. His last tracks were released on Einmusika Recordings with Niconé, the Berlin label Dantze and the label run by Pablo Bolivar, Seven Villas Music.

Since 2012, Aracil has been part of the Ibiza scene, performing in most of the best-known venues of the Island, Ushuaia, Space Ibiza, Pacha, Destino Pacha, Privilege, Km5, Beachhouse and his last residency at Heart Ibiza among many others sharing booth with all biggest headliners, leading him to be chosen by Emerging Ibiza as one of the best new incomer DJ/Producer of 2015, and participate that same year in the DANCEFAIR IBIZA. From the last two years, Aracil was playing at the Dj Awards Ceremony and the International Music Summit (IMS).

Aracil performed in many places in Spain and all over the world like Berlin, Paris, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapur, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Zanzibar, Izmir and many more.
