Melodic techno dj/producer Lake Avalon, born in Bogota, Colombia, raised in the Netherlands. He discovered the art of music at a very young age due to his father who played several instruments. Because of that, music always played a big role in his life. Growing up as a teenager he got inspired by the first wave of progressive house acts like Sasha and John Digweed. You can still hear these influences in his own music productions. His sound nowadays can best be described as melodic techno Berlin style.

Lake Avalon played at events and clubs like DGTL, Pleinvrees, Now & Wow and Basis and covered a lot of clubs in Berlin; Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Sisyphos, Suicide Circus, Kosmonaut and Golden Gate as well as Club Vaag and Club Labyrinth, Baalsaal Hamburg, Club Bellevue Zurich plus several gigs in India & USA.

Besides being an experienced performer, he’s also a top notch producer with releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Parquet, Jeudi Records, Einmusika, Global Underground, Katermukke, Kraftek, Electronique, Kittball. He’s owner of the recordlabel Cloudbreak. He just released a split E.P. on Katermukke with Marc DePulse, a full E.P. on Nico Morano’s Atmosphere in March and another E.P in March on Hungarian label Artessa.

His music is supported by the likes of Tale Of Us, Lee Burridge, Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Adana Twins, Doctor Dru, Artbat, Teenage Mutants, Oliver Koletzki, Moonwalk, Giorgia Angiuli, Agents Of Time, Tube & Berger, Jonas Saalbach, Solee, Einmusik.
