LNOE137 showcases the fruits of an exciting collaboration between US based producers; Rinzen & Enamour. Both have a very impressive track records, releasing music on labels like Mau5trap, Anjunadeep, Yoshitoshi and more. This joint effort brings out the signature qualities of both producers, utilizing the weight of Rinzen’s cinematic sound design techniques and the playfulness found through Enamour’s eclectic musical upbringing.
 
The result is best described as a club EP, containing huge awe-inspiring moments and some very big grooves. The title track ‘Photon’ creates an intriguing atmosphere, using spread-out staccato melodies and a big bass-line to set the mood, followed by ‘Miracle of The Sun’, bringing a playful groove into the landscape and slowly building towards a drop of cosmic proportions. We’ve asked both producers to give their comments about this release;
 
Rinzen: "I'm honored to make my debut on Last Night On Earth with this new EP with Enamour. I've always loved the label's consistency and quality of releases. Beyond that, Sasha has had a major influence on my career and is a constant source of inspiration. It feels surreal to be releasing on his label now."
 
Enamour: “Sasha has been a role model for many years as someone who confidently stands between genres, bridging the sounds of the past and future—two traits I consider defining elements of the Enamour project. It's been great working with my good friend Rinzen again. I find we work really well together, pushing each other out of our usual habits to create music uniquely different from our own styles yet still a clear mix of our musical DNA.”
 
The EP also features a remix by the Polish producer ANII, who has been making a name for herself on labels like Afterlife, Kompakt and Stil Vor Talent. The rising star has outdone herself on crafting a remix of ‘Photon’ utilizing her enigmatic plucked synths, and signature drums to shape the original tune into a big festival banger. 
 
Rinzen & Enamour’s debut on LNOE will be out October 1st on LNOE, followed by the ANII Remix on October 8th - available across all digital platforms.

Helsloot has made tremendous waves in the last decade working behind the scene with some of dance music’s titans, and his individual projects harness influences from progressive, deep house, disco, and techno. With remixes for the likes of Bob Moses, Flux Pavilion, and Tinlicker coming alongside original productions on Astralwerks, Poesie, and This Never Happened, Helsloot has captured the attention of global tastemakers & dancers alike. As life returns to long silenced dancefloors, Helsloot provides a punchy pairing on his debut for XYZ - the Petal Dance EP.

The A-side Petal Dance scintillates the senses, capturing an electro-laden hook teeming with timelessness. A round sub brings warmth to the track’s core, while the everpresent groove swells and soothes throughout an elongated arrangement, offering ecstatic moments a-plenty. 

Remind Me welcomes playful percussion into the fold, while the basslines kicks us into motion on this low-slung heater. Energy elevates throughout the bridge, lifting the room to a higher plane. Cid Inc's Replug Records ushers in the summer season by welcoming Kamilo Sanclemente and David Barragan to the label for their debut EP. The former, long regarded as one of Colombia's premiere progressive house talents has found a home on Balance Music, Beat Boutique and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, while earning continued support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. The latter, also hailing from Colombia and perhaps better known to progressive music fans as Dabeat, has adopted his given name for this distinguished project. Much like Kamilo, David has showcased his music on a wide assortment of the underground's premiere imprints, most notably Beatfreak Recordings, Hope Recordings and Proton Music. As frequent studio partners in the past, Kamilo and David now debut on Replug with 'Time Writer'. 

Drawing on a variety of fresh designs and sleek rhythmic concepts the EP begins with its title and showcase piece 'Time Writer'. On a backbone of warm beats comes smooth contoured bass and a lively percussive cadence. Subtle yet stirring, an atmospheric glow encases the framework, as gentle arps and effervescent effects converge in a perfect sonic marriage. The narrative shifts as the breakdown commences with a buzzing lead line set atop a redolent backdrop. Trance inducing and hugely poignant, its euphoric nature sets the course towards a musically enlightened finale. 

The companion piece 'Relive' continues the trance inspired themes of its predecessor.  From its full, wonky groove comes spacey effects and hypnotic arps. Ghostly vocals and placid atmospheres build an emotive resonance across the first movement, perfectly segueing into an expansive centrepiece. A realm within the story, the break melts down to a stunning display of reflective melodies, free flowing in nature and elevating the mood before playing out over a colourful final act.

Having recorded more than thirty productions since the inception of their partnership, the creative synergy between Kamilo and David continues to grow. Their Replug debut sees a further evolution in their collaborative journey, with two creations that once again find them at the forefront of the progressive movement.
