Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to present Tamir Regev and Avi Snow's latest EP, 'Common Ground'. The title track is a collaboration between Avi, Tamir and Ben Cina. The track was also remixed by Paso Doble. To close out the EP, we find the solo track 'Silver Joe' by Tamir Regev.

The EP showcases Tamir Regev's unique blend of electronic music, combining intricate melodies with hypnotic beats. 'Common Ground' captures the essence of collaboration, with the title track featuring Avi Snow's exceptional guitar work, Ben Cina's beautiful vocals and Tamir Regev's driving rhythm. 'Silver Joe' takes the listener on a joyful journey with its great melody and driving, percussive beat. Paso Doble's remix of 'Common Ground' adds a deep, introspective dimension to the EP with haunting melodies and intricate soundscapes.

Plaisirs Sonores Records has a reputation for releasing cutting-edge, innovative music from artists around the world, and 'Common Ground' is no exception. Baikal Nomads is a respected organic house record label, and the imprint's new release features original music by Nadav Dagon, plus stunning remixes from Max TenRoM and Catatonique.

Nadav Dagon is a sizzling organic house producer whose sun-drenched tracks and live performances fuse live instruments with synthesisers and drum machines. He is an Israeli artist who has played international shows everywhere from India to Brazil, and his music has been released on prestigious record labels such as Camel Riders, 3000 Grab Records, plus his own Circle of Dreams. Nadav Dagon also collaborated with Roy Rosenfeld for a release on Guy Gerber's Rumors.

Carla Valenti collaborates on one of the original tracks in the style that the Chilean artist has featured on the likes of LNDKHN and BLOND:ISH's Abracadabra Music. The other original track has been made alongside GALGO (IL) and Yinon Dar.

On remix duty, Max TenRoM is a French artist who blends jazz musicianship with electronic sounds. Inspired by exotic sounds and different world cultures, Max TenRoM's music has been supported by people ranging from Goldcap to Above & Beyond, and his tracks can be found on imprints such as MONADA, Cafe De Anatolia and Harabe.

The second remix comes from Catatonique a Mexican duo whose downtempo style blends epic synths with immersive atmosphere and flowing percussion. Alongside releases on their own record label, Subnautique Records, their tracks and remixes can also be heard on the likes of Lump Records, Shango Records and kośa.

Opening the release is the collaboration with Carla Valenti titled, "Egypcia." The track centres around a modulating arpeggio synth that's shrouded by Arabic guitar chords and dramatic live percussion, while the thumping kick drum and throbbing bassline hold the groove steady.

"First Night Back" is second of the two original tracks, and it's a three way collaboration between Nadav Dagon, GALGO (IL) and Yinon Dar. It's a deep an atmospheric track with haunting vocals and soothing melodies, which are layered with shuffling percussion and a bassline that warps into a bubbling acid line.

Catatonique's remix of "Egypcia" focuses round a chugging section of the original's bassline, and adds new synths that give the track a chunky groove.

Max TenRom adds an Afro house vibe to "First Night Back," as his rework incorporates dramatic percussion and more prominent use of the original's vocal.

This version was actually made exclusively for Paul Hazendonk's artist of the week mix on friskyRadio last fall, but the response was so good that we've now decided to give the track away for free via Soundcloud. The intention when producing this song was to remix the 'Hazy Echoes' track which appeared on Paul's 'ADAPT' album and featured the vocals of London based singer/songwriter Patchy. However the Hazendonk/Cue duo ended up with a totally different song at the end, that's why we decided not to release it as a remix, but as a new song titled 'Recaptured'. Lost Boy is a DJ, producer, and founder of For The People, a label and event brand focused on precise, quality-driven electronic music. As an organizer, he has presented Senseless in Toronto, an immersive festival held at Evergreen Brickworks on July 9, 2016—featuring headline sets by Tube & Berger, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ set), Rodriguez Jr. (live), Frivolous (live), Isolée (live), Frank & Tony, Taimur & Fahad, supported by Talal & Zoi, Lost Boy, Saqib, and Sam Jaspersohn. He also curated events under For The People at Second Floor Events in Toronto, showcasing acts such as Stavroz and extended the concept to New York City.

His production work appears on respected labels including Bar25, Seven Villas, Sol Selectas, and Warung. In a previous duo project, he released on Dirtybird, Kindisch, Traum, and Rawthentic, reflecting a sound that spans deep, melodic, and groove-oriented electronic music.

As a live performer, he has played in a dozen major cities: Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Medellín, Cartagena, Lima (Peru), Lisbon, London, Berlin, Heidelberg, Bangkok, Lahore, and Karachi. He has opened for established artists such as HVOB, Stimming, and Rodriguez Jr, consistently delivering sets that merge live instrumentation with electronic arrangements. Trained in classical sitar, he incorporates the instrument into his performances, forging a distinctive interplay between traditional textures and modern electronic production.

Beyond his musical career, he leads as captain of the Canadian Tent-Pegging national team. He travels internationally for competitions and is preparing to compete in the Tent-Pegging World Cup, demonstrating discipline and leadership in both athletic and artistic arenas.

Here he is blending shades of house music with his South Asian roots. Lost Boy weaves in recordings of the great singer Mehdi Hassan into a sonic journey which resonates emotionally.

The melody is warm and uplifting combined with metallic parts, which guide you through the whole song. The basic theme has it’s peak in a reduced break full of magic. D-Nox & Beckers delivered a trembling remix which is remarkable from the first bar. It is bringing the summer nights back into our clubs. The B-Side is “Nobility of Time“ which leads into a shaky production with a big soundscape in the back and decent voice progression.
