We're happy to welcome Jonas Saalbach on board for his debut EP on Manual Music. The Berlin based talent recently made his first appearance on the label when remixing Paul Hazendonk & Noraj Cue's Primate track. Although still young of age, Jonas has released his music on numerous respectable labels such as Einmusika, MoodMusic, Partquet, Click and Musik Gewinnt Freunde for instance. Here on 'Charon EP' he showcases his trademark honest and refreshing warm sound.

The EP kicks off with the title track 'Charon' which sounds like a fairytale, packed with beautiful strings and arps carefully layered on a warm sub bass driven infectious groove. On 'Follow Me'- a collaboration with Paul Klatt- Jonas turns things down a notch, showing he's capable of writing a nice peace of chilled out electronica. True mind trip music, just close your eyes and experience it! To top things off in proper fashion Jonas has asked his friend Moritz Guhling to take 'Follow Me' to the dance floor and so he does! A proper four to the floor remix which might remind you a bit of the sound of artists like Adriatique and Tale Of Us for instance.

A mix from the time of the very cold winter that we had a few years ago when we was all snowed in,  eclectic leftfield stuff, Snowstorm by Irresistible Force on there etc, The Lie In King, in fact, lots of Irresistible Force, Brainfeeder and some Orb all mixed with Mixmiester then thrown into Cubase and Wavelab, could do with some more edits. 

Nothing like any of the Psy 68 mixes
