Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP continues a strong summer season by welcoming Maze 28 back to the label for a new single. Hailing from Albania, Mario Zefi aka Maze 28 has become one of the most hotly tipped progressive house artists that the underground has to offer. In just three short years the Durres resident has earned support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while his melodic creations have found a home on Clubsonica, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley, the latter of which operates as his primary home. RKP has also been a landing spot for the talented Albanian, with October of last year marking his label debut with ‘This Is Just a Dream’. Remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Marcelo Vasami, the track quickly rose to the number one position in both the label and artist’s Beatport sellers, where it still sits today. Now, following his latest vehicle for Juicebox Music, the cross-cultural sounds of ‘Cry of the Deserts’, Maze 28 returns to RKP with ‘Red Lights From Afar’, alongside remixes from Ruben Karapetyan and Nacres.

Maze 28's craftsmanship reveals itself across the groovy monochromes of 'Red Lights From Afar'. Muscular kick drums and swing heavy grooves provide a foundation of jet force propulsions, as effects orbit and percussion builds momentum. Striking sonics and woody claps steal the air as the main break approaches, forecasting new found themes to come. Catchy chord stabs highlight the interlude, building a restrained sense of rhythm and melody, before eventually getting washed away in a rush of pneumatic energy for a grooved out finale.

Release Info: 
Cid Inc's 2016 'State of Everything' EP marked a welcome return to his critically acclaimed Replug Records imprint. While focusing on material for Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, it ended what was a two year hiatus from original projects on his home label. Following a nomination as Beatport's best progressive house artist for 2016, the new year began in spectacular fashion with a remix of 'Pan-O-Rama' by Roger Martinez, also coming courtesy of Replug Records. Delightfully driving and devilishly hypnotic the rework sits as the Finnish artist's lone production of the year. As Cid Inc. has continued to travel the globe pushing his progressive minded sound, anticipation has grown for his first original project of 2017. Once again the stars have aligned for a return to Replug as he now presents his latest artist showcase entitled 'Shifter'.

While distinctive in both cadence and design the Cid Inc sound is ever-evolving, proving his musical talent knows no boundaries. Played out over four stylistically diverse compositions the collection begins with the peak time opus and title cut 'Shifter'. Electrically charged with thumping kicks and rising rhythmic structures it's energetic intensity swarms over a four minute first act. As the beats fade into the main break buzzing synths and spine tingling pads converge for a minute of unadulterated bliss, before getting washed away into a killer drop. 

Emotive and cinematic in equal measure, the fluid energy continues with 'Wanderer'. It's delicate framework is inspired, elusive yet charming, mesmerizing with each successive loop as percussive details fill in the storyboard. Melancholic chords rise into the second act as the groove remains locked, before the synth euphoria gets engulfed by a static wave and it's bubbly effervesce carries you home. 

Taking the journey into more emotive territory 'Arcane Thoughts' entices both the heart and mind. Exceptionally developed groove aesthetics make for a pulsating framework while Cid Inc's musical imagination takes you on an expressive ride. Vivid melodies invite you into this impassioned beauty which eases wonderfully into the EP's 

Every Cid Inc project is met with much anticipation and 'Shifter' proves to be his most creative and stylistically diverse EP to date. Highly sought after and just in time for the summer festival season, the much loved artist has perhaps raised the bar yet again.

Dustin Nantais makes his long awaited return to Manual Music after delivering one of the labels' biggest releases of last year with 'Apathy'.

The Toronto based artist delivers two delightful new tracks, kicking things off with the title track 'Last Legs'. A lovely piece of blissful dance floor euphoria that sits nicely in the middle of progressive melodic house and a more bigroom kinda sound. Sure to be dropped at many festivals this summer season!

On remix duties we welcome Argentinian rising star Emi Galvan on board, after already having released material by him on our MNL label. He brings that percussion driven South American touch which we love so much, and gives 'Last Legs' a whole different feel. Groovy!

The second original is titled 'The More You Do' and is a bit deeper and moody when compared to the opening track. The infectious bassline gently takes you on yet another trip to dreamland as the strings and arpeggiators get introduced subtly along the way. Proper emo vibes here!

Always end the thing with a bang we thought, so we asked Matan Caspi to remix 'The More You Do' and the result is nothing short of stunning! The Outta Limits label boss truly delivers on of his best remixes to date here with a driving chunky percussion fueled interpretation. Proper peak time dance floor madness right here!

Two great originals by Dustin Nantais topped off by two strong interpretations by Emi Galvan and Matan Caspi. What more can one ask for?

D-Nox and Beckers have been a mainstay of the underground scene, for longer than either of them probably would care to remember, and seemingly getting more successful and more popular as time goes by. Both sucessful individually and as part of the dynamic duo, with releases gracing Tronic, Innervisions, Watergate, Selador and Sprout to name just a few.

'Bitter Rain' is a melodic and dirty workout, with harmonies meeting grittiness, and subtleness meeting pure filth. A solid trrack that is as fresh as a daisy, yet has nods to yesteryear. A seriously accomplished dance floor monster.

Re-Plug boss Cid Inc. steps up first on remix duties, as he continues to develop his own DJ and production career. His remix is a biggie, and in his hallmark vibe, he delivers a throbbing rework. Big bass and plenty of drive, and great utilisation of the melody, keeping us waiting for the big key changes. A monster rework

Nico Morano has been causing quite a fuss in recent years, with amazing roof top gigs and quirky locations gaining international attention. His label Atmosphere has been gaining in stature, and his releases on Sincopat, KATTERMUKKE and Récits de Mars have increased his popularity. Nico adds an air of sophistication to his rework, yet still packing a serious punch!
