Dabeat has been releasing lots of great music for many years, gracing Timeless Moment, Plaisirs Sonores and Mango alley to name just a few. This time the Columbian artist has teamed up with several musical friends to bring us Hioda EP.

Kicking off with the title track Hioda, the first collaboration comes from Zalvador. A fellow Columbian with releases on Plattenbank, onedotsixtwo and Univack. This combination brings us tough and deep and dark, as wobbly synths glide over this chunky vibed workout, before an unexpectedly warm yet tripped out breakdown.

A second collab with Zalvador entitled 'Atom', is another menacing peak time throbber. Non nonsense solidness from the off, as this melodic dark slab of filth unleashes itself.

Keeping it Columbian, Mauro Aguirre steps up with the wonderful 'Arcade' collaboration with Dabeat. With labels like Hope and Maunal under his belt, there's no wonder this gem oozes of quality. A brooding deep workout, an effected arp and a uber cool swaggering groove all combine wonderfully.

Rounding off this Columbian extravaganza Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat deliver 'Reflector'. Kamilo's music has appeared on The Soundgarden and Anjunadeep, and here brings his melodics to the release. Dramatic yet warm, this sold gem really delivers the goods!

Sabrina Rivas @sabrina-rivas-320133787 , a DJ and producer based in Argentina, makes her debut on Univack with the striking EP “Pure Muse”, a four-track work deeply rooted in Progressive House.
