'Strangeness led us here...’
 The song came to be through a series of dream like scenes, words and frequencies on the air.  A tapestry of undulating harmonies, hums, Phoebe Coco’s voice and three pianos are woven together co-produced with Marc Makavov and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eduardo De Le Paz.

Brick Wall ‘the standout track of the night’ (Beatnik Events) is the next single from Phoebe Coco’s forthcoming debut album. A story narrated by Phoebe Coco’s signature voice and piano, the harmonies of her twin sisters Grace and Dorothy with undulating synth bass, drum machines and shakers, it takes us to the immovable brick wall, the lives of kids growing up and even to swirling psychedelic fields. Out on Sharp Attack Records with a music video on the 5th of June this is a live favourite at Phoebe’s gigs, with an ‘instantly memorable melody’, and is sure to get you singing along, as we too break away from the barrier of the Brick Wall and into a new place altogether. 


 With a live stream gig on the same weekend it’s out on the 5th of June via Sharp Attack Records, co-produced by Phoebe Coco with Marc Makavov and Vanessa Anne Redd and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eduardo De Le Paz.

DHS Premiere: Eleven Of July - Black Hole (Main Leaf Remix)

Manual Music gets 2021 off to a flying start, presenting Mohn's brand new EP titled 'Polygon'. The Dutch producer of This Never Happened, SOSO, Mango Alley, Click Records, WEITER and Soulful Techno fame is part of the Manual Bookings agency, so it was only a matter of time before he returned to the label, and now the time has come!

He drops two emotion filled melodic progressive house cuts titled 'Polygon' and 'Whatever You Fancy', both uplifting and packed with positive vibes. We can all use a bit of euphoria during these dark winter days, don't you agree?

First up on remix duties it's Corren Cavini who makes his return to the label after having released two well received singles before ('When I Knew' and 'Out There'). Nowadays you can find him releasing on infamous labels such as DAYS like NIGHTS, Yoshitoshi, Zerothree and This Never Happened and this remix shows exactly why. Pure class!

But wait, there's more! We've got another lovely artist on this EP which is well worth your time. Rylan Taggart is also signed to This Never Happened (which seems to be a common denominator between all artists involved here), but you can also find his work on Where The Heart Is, Immersed and Purified Records to name a few. Peak time melodic euphoria is what he brings to the table, remixing 'Whatever You Fancy'.

About:
UK based producer Miname aka Bruce O’Connor channels tropical soundscapes in his latest production spree for DeVante’s Kognitiv Records. Over the course of 7 minutes, Spring fuses the ecstatic appeal of dance music with an airy, sultry sound and feel courtesy of a Portuguese vocal exclaiming “essa música es muito boa” paired with gentle murmurs. The track comes with a shorter, radio-ready edit, as well as remix by DeVante, who amps up the tension
adding differently texturised synth layers, both in the original and the half time version. The second offering on the release, Without You, switches up the style, showing Miname to be as comfortable making brooding house arrangements as he is tunneling funky tech house.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds.
