The quality productions he delivers time after time are nothing short of amazing, and this 'Reality Bruise EP' is yet another perfect example of his ability to create just about anything underground electronic music related as if it is his second nature. The long lost son has returned to the mothership! Or at least, that's how it feels now that we have Arjuna Schiks back on one of Manual Music's labels. The prolific Amsterdam based producer has mostly been absent from the scene for quite a bit, focussing on other musical projects and endeavors, but he's been incredibly active in the studio over the last couple of years and we're happy to welcome him back.

The release of 'Homestayer' is a good start, as this has been one of Arjuna's well sought after tracks. He has been including this one in his live sets for many years and now this beautiful little gem finally sees the light of day with a well deserved release on Manual Deep!

Inner Square — DHM Podcast #357 (December 2017)

A new premiere from Yarni's upcoming EP full of wonderful remixes. We are pleased to premier this subtle remix by Harmonious. A wonderful smooth melodic groove throughout this journey. Definitely something we would play for the upcoming sunsets over Lac Léman.

Yarni's `Entkommen' was a well-received debut album on this label last year, and now comes the first of two remixes EPs.

AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni all serve up brilliant new versions ahead of part two in September. Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on `Agitator' creating a CFCF like vibe. It's awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.

Next up, IPG follow on from their recent disco hit with Hot Toddy, joining forces here with Yarni for a remix of `Granny's Garden' that is blissed out and dreamy thanks to the heavenly chords and gentle percussion. Then it's, ATDHE a newcomer from Yarni's hometown of Sheffield who breathes new life, broken beats & shimmering melodies into `Waterfall'. For his remix, Dutch producer `Harmonious' takes us on a beautifully harmonic journey with rubbery kicks powering along the thoughtful groove.

After that is another newcomer in the form of Tales Of Voodoo who take the delightful `Goin Live in Rabat', strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. Last of all is an alternative disco remix of '28 Years of It' from Tuff City Kid member Lauer who uses all his know how to cook up a euphoric remix with big retro chords and effortlessly summery vibes.

All six of these remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another superb release from Night Noise Music.

Vander (@vander_music) and The Gardens of Babylon - two names that go hand in hand with each other. As one of the Amsterdam-based spiritual communities original resident artists, he has seen it grow from beloved local tribe to robust international community, himself integral in this success. Hailing from the white sands of the Dominican Republic yet now calling the Netherlands home, Vander is the very embodiment of worldliness. Both in music and life, his focus on spirituality, romance, and connection have resulted in a beloved fan following and affiliations with some of electronic world music’s most in demand entities. Vander’s uniquely inspired music has been felt on the likes of Klassified, Art Vibes, Pipe & Pochet, Crossings and more, whilst crisscrossing the world, DJing and performing everywhere from Amsterdam to Istanbul, Marrakech to Qatar, as well as at his very own concept Corals: The Underwater Tribe.

Now with Aspiras EP, Vander delivers a love letter to his musical and spiritual home via its own record label. The EP’s name and eponymous second track draw inspiration from the Aspiras Foundation, a Dominican Republic based charity aimed at improving the lives of local children through education and football. As a track, Aspiras represents dancefloor readiness via analog synths. Its driving energy through bass and arp yields to a monumental breakdown, each element combined to create the kind of atmosphere experienced at peak time The Gardens of Babylon. Before Aspiras hits, though, Can’t Stop Loving You kicks things off with a dreamy fusion of organic elements, broken beats, and Ámika’s sultry vocals. Both classic and contemporary, it is a track meant to stand the test of time. The Aspiras EP then ends on another romance-heavy note with The Attraction. This a perfect-for-every-moment track (although, of particular effect if that moment involves loved ones) that goes heavy on intimacy and desire. Through chopped vocals and a steady groove, it is a surefire way to set the mood for love, whether on or off the dancefloor.

With the Aspiras EP, Vander continues his trek through the ranks of the global music scene that started with humble beginnings behind the decks (and desks) of The Gardens of Babylon. Now, a seminal member of its family, he joins the likes of Carlita, Jacob Groening, and Geju as label mates, poised more than ever to continue his lifelong search for experience and knowledge, connecting all the pieces of the human puzzle with sincerity and kindness.
