Plaisirs Sonores Records announce the release of 'Gems, pt. 1', their first-ever VA featuring three talented artists from different parts of the world: Maezbi and Paul (AR), both from Argentina, and Savvas from Greece. Joris Voorn's Spectrum imprint continues its mission to spotlight visionary electronic music with the debut of Dutch producer Tim van Werd, who delivers a cinematic two-track EP: 'View From Space.' A release inspired by the awe of the cosmos and the humbling perspective of orbit. 

The title track, 'View From Space,' draws on the powerful words of Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, whose reflections from orbit sparked the theme of the EP. Glistening chimes and warm, enveloping rhythms capture the beauty of Earth as seen from above, a fragile, shared home suspended in the blackness of space.
