D. Ramirez is a Sheffield-born DJ and producer whose genre-blurring sound has left a lasting mark on global dance music. Rising to prominence in the 1990s, he built a reputation for pushing electronic boundaries with a distinctive blend of house, techno, electro, and progressive styles.
His breakthrough came with the iconic remix of Bodyrox’s Yeah Yeah—a chart-topping anthem that earned critical acclaim, hit No. 2 in the UK charts, and received an Ivor Novello nomination. From there, D. Ramirez delivered a string of influential tracks and remixes, cementing his status as a trailblazer in the scene. As a performer, he has lit up some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and festivals, known for his electrifying sets and deep connection with the crowd. Beyond the decks, he’s shaped the next generation of artists through mentorship and education, including his work with The Toolroom Academy and his own Raven Studios. Christian’s musical journey began in the UK, where his love for electronic music first took root. After relocating to New York, he discovered the city’s underground scene—an experience that ignited his passion for DJing. Since then, he’s become a respected presence in the global underground community, recognized for his sophisticated sound and deep connection to music.

As a resident DJ for Bespoke Musik (@bespoke-musik) and Beachouse Ibiza (@beachouseibiza), Christian curates soulful sets that soundtrack sunlit days on Playa D’en Bossa. He also recently joined the All Day I Dream (@alldayidream) family, appearing in their streaming series and gracing stages at Space Miami, Cova Santa Ibiza, and All Day I Dream festivals around the world.

His style blends deep, grooving basslines with emotive, melodic textures—creating an atmosphere equally suited for late-night dancefloors or dreamy sunset sessions.

Beyond the decks, Christian helps manage the Bespoke Musik label alongside its founder, Rocky Ramniceanu. In 2024, he released his debut collaborative EP with Powel (@powel), further showcasing his artistic range. With past performances at venues like Sisyphos Berlin, Robot Heart at Burning Man, and Café D’Anvers Antwerp, Christian continues to push boundaries—bridging timeless sounds with contemporary energy as Bespoke Musik expands globally.

Just The Artist #28 - Enamour

Sasch BBC & Caspar first appeared within the Manual family only a few months ago when they did a remix for Ming (GER)'s 'Polara' track on MNL. Now the German duo is back with an impressive EP on Manual Music, presenting two new originals and each of them getting a proper remix treatment.

We kick off the release with 'Eschaton', a peak time dance floor pleaser with it's warm and roaring bassline, driving arpeggiators and aggressive percussion arrangement. Emotive and uplifting at the same time.

'Demure' is a heavy hitting deep and dubby techno track filled with emotion and subtle twists. Very dreamy- but relentlessly pumping at the same time. Get ready to be mesmerized!

First up on remix duties it's Kamilo Sanclemente who makes his Manual debut. The Colombian progressive house don scored a big hit this year with 'The White City' and- ahead of his single release on MNL later this year- now transforms 'Eschaton' into a rolling and dreamy track which will appeal to the progressive house lovers for sure.

Another artist who has been breaking thru in the progressive house- and melodic techno scene lately is Ukrainian producer NekliFF. His releases on Click Records and Dear Deer have been making some serious waves lately and with his remix for 'Demure' he once again proves he's a force to be reckoned with.

Contrary to common belief Sascha Ries aka Sasch BBC is not a branch of british broadcasting, but nevertheless his name also stands for splendid entertainment. He delivers delicious music from Germany’s Rhein-Main-Area. Deep-seated in there are the roots of the current Loft resident, which shaped the mentality of his sound since the beginning.

In young years, Sascha was electrified by the precursors of today’s electronic scene like Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. The desire for spinning records himself and encouraging a crowd to dance grew and was rewarded with his first residency in the age of 16 (1993) – in a time when pegging styles was not a common practice, when Techno was simply Techno and even House and Happy Breakbeats didn’t get in line. Around that time Sascha utilized an Amiga-computer to make his first steps in musical production. And for the people’s pleasure, a lot of tapes were mixed these days. Additional versatility was also proven by him in discjockey activities beyond his electronic paths. He put his mixing skills to work for the hip hop band “Noname Produkt” and released 2 CDs in collaboration wth them. But in spite of this detours his heart was always heavily beating in 4/4-steps – House and Techno. 

So in 2003 he came along the residency in the Loft Club Ludwigshafen, which remains true until today. And his impulsive sets were decisive for direct support of Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos, Magda, Marco Carola, Richi Hawtin and many other top-class DJs. Sascha became iconic in the widely acclaimed Loft Club. Meanwhile in 2003, the event label “Envy My Music” offered him to take an additional residency in Frankfurt’s innovative Monza Club. He easily decided to do so. And by now he conquered almost all electronic clubs around the Rhein-Main-Area. On top of this his career has been elevated by playing sets at Time Warp 07 to 16! “Music has to be fun” isn’t only his often repeated mantra, it’s also a quality receptible in his sets. Heavily affected by the locally specific minimalistic Deephouse sound, he spreads his music up to groovy and funky House, Techhouse, Indie Dance and 80’s Synth Pop – but always with a certain element of high temper. Dark and blut just simply never was his thang. His music was released on such labels as 8 Bit, Great Stuff, Whatiplay, Disco Halal, Bar 25, Plastic City, Brise, Noir, Sleazy Deep, Sinope, Cimelde and Viva Music, Dear Deer....
