Emerging from the Bristol underground in original style, Ramu proves definitively that three is the magic number with this head turning 3-tracker for Magic Carpet’s third record.

Mist Or Cloud on the A-side is pure alchemy, a soaring force majeure infused with graceful atmosphere. Best enjoyed at 10,000 feet! The B-side brings us back down into our bodies for two kinetic tracks that conduct raw energy and movement for the dancefloor. A stellar debut from a promising talent.

The mix series and music platform Mantissa takes its first steps into the label space with Mantissa 001. Written and produced by a close friend to the Mantissa family, this unnamed and elusive artist has begun the label with a bang, three club focused, space inspired tracks designed to decimate a dancefloor or atone a night's shenanigans at an after's.
Space Cadet opens the extra-terrestrial affair, weaving from acoustic elements to electronic and eclectic synth lines. Frozen Bounce finalising the A side with a wobbly number, woven together with quick cuts and jerky elements. U10A, the most structured of a complex affair, is a warming club tool perfect for both beginning and finishing an evening. It's remix similarly suitable for any party specific scenario, produced by the infamously talented artist Ciel.

Next up we got a 2 hour ride into music delivered by Bogotá via NY badman Tomas Station. Tomas has been an avid cannabis enthusiast since an early age so for him it’s a privilege and an honor to get the chance to accompany your smoking with some proper chunidge! The artwork is a painting from his uncle Andres Garda Peña from 1997.

Nice Timing for another record release? It appears so. With the backing of Subwax Distribution, the quirky San Francisco label returns with release number two. Serving as the platform for label owner Zacky, Nice Timing offers a tongue in cheek outlook on the perception of time itself.

While we consider whether it was actually a burning vinyl crash landing into the extinction of dinosaurs (as depicted by the record artwork), Zacky himself travels through time and space. In the meantime, it’s up to the audience to think a little more seriously about their own method of time travel. Consideration of decisions in the present moment and how the future might be affected by said decisions. This month's Nugcast comes from a very well-known face of the Parisian underground circuit. 

@alexisnamur is the co-founder of Beau Mot Plage, a Paris Based Dj crew focused on the art of digging, that has become over the years one of the main actors of the nugs movement in France.
Alexis’ taste and skills grew as the crew built its reputation and it gave him the opportunity to play in some of the best clubs in France.
His main influences range from US west coast house, UK tech house and Breakbeat, European early prog and trance to 2000 minimal.
He likes to get deep in his sets and move between moods but always keeps a groovy foundation. 
He also has been producing music for many years now and frequently sparkles his sets with his own productions and edits. This podcast is no exception.

Alex from Voiceless is no stranger to DJ’ing and hosting club nights after already more than a 100 events behind him in Nantes with the likes of Francesco Del Garda, Vera and Binh to name a few. Their own imprint by the same name has also released some quality work in the last 4 years. It’s obvious he knows a thing or two about the scene he’s in and this mix for us is a great example of that: built as he would’ve played in K4 himself, with a touch of ambient in the end to return to reality as clubs are still closed.. still with an optimistic vibe to it.

DEEP SLEEP ROBOT kicks things off with a three-tracker from no other than LEN LEWIS "The Orbalisk EP". Len Lewis already a regular on the infamous UK Tech House Label Swag Records, and a deep back catalog of trusted DJ gems spanning back to the '90s.  

All tracks were produced between the years of 1999-2003, timeless and rarer than rare, don't sleep on this one!

Like his prolific activity in numerous projects and networks, his music similarly traverses multiple, inter-connected dimensions. Like a dream, scenes switch with a natural kind of spontaneity - dusty breaks roll into spaced-out topologies, instrumental interludes protrude between lo-fi workouts and hazy broadcasts. Feel the gentle rise and fall of the wide melancholic contour, as this personal story settles to find its way to optimism. Even if the memories are blurred, there’s a feeling that it all made sense in the end.
