Cosmic JD is a Colombian-born Producer and DJ based in Toronto, Canada. Highly regarded as a key player in the underground house and techno community both in the city and abroad. A talent behind the decks, in the studio, and behind the scenes, JD’s drive, skills and continued commitment to the underground make him an artist to keep watch on.

Butter Side Up's sixth EP comes from Stockholm's super slick Basement Space, who serves up four tracks of spacey, tripped-out house and breaks.

Patrik Edenhall is an audio engineer and producer with a love of old school broken beats. In his hands, those beats are worked into everything from jazz to techno, with deft ambient melodies and complex IDM patterns. His meticulous approach shines through once again on these four more timeless tracks.

Time stops in the endless stream of sonic transmission. If you dive into Te Iubesc’s webradio channel, one will soon find themselves immersed in a vast comic broadcast. At some point, one slips into distant dreamworlds, transfixed under the colourful spell of the imagination. Traversing dimensions, morphing spaces, an endless accretion of sounds crossing all dots and into uncharted territory.

Listen closely and you’ll find a red thread that brings them all together. Threaded by its Parisian creator, Dawidu, the webradio is a perennial project fuelled by unceasing curiosity and unresolved endings. Also a personal repository of thoughts and emotions, such an eternal broadcast can map histories, but also eventually seems to transcend time itself. Dawidu is the navigator of these timeless worlds, unlimited in the scope of his inquiry, and indefatigable in his search for the undiscovered.

Walid from Zurich is no stranger to electronic music, already dancing to ‘CLEAR’ from Cybotron at the age of 14 and coming into contact with elements of Hip Hop, such as breakbeat, Hip House and Electro, through older members of his family. Having discovered this so early on, it still influences his mixing techniques and track selection to this day.

As a DJ and producer he widened his horizon to anything between techno, breakbeat, trance, house, rave, electro and ambient. This is also apparent in the label and collective he shares with Nicola Kazimir, LOUH and Audino, called Les Points. Also his imprint Infoline shows this variety in sounds and this summer’s first podcast for K4 will surely not disappoint you either regarding that, with a proper selection of tracks to prepare you for this years rather late party season.

This month we welcome one of the minds behind our label, a special mix from a special person.
@oaojcarvalho is a digger by nature, he always tries to show something authentic in his mixes, sending you to another dimension.
Born in Porto, he is now a reference in the portuguese underground scene, playing in some of the best clubs and festivals like Neopop, Lux Fragil, Industria, Gare and sharing the booth with amazing artists such as Tc80, Onur Ozer, Christian AB, Andrew James Gustav, to name a few.
He joined our family back in 2019, and together with Manata and Tiago Marques, started this adventure that we like to call Nugs On Board.

So tune in for the next hour for some of João’s favorite nugs.
