In his debut album Phil Evans is taking you on a ride over the S-Mile with 8 bouncy endorphine infused cuts brushing off that Highway to Hell sh**. Turn that frown upside down and Ssss-mile!

S-miling activates the release of neuropeptides that work toward fighting off stress. Neuropeptides are tiny molecules that allow neurons to communicate. They facilitate messaging to the whole body when we are happy, sad, angry, depressed, or excited. The feel-good neurotransmitters - dopamine, endorphins and serotonin - are all released when a s-mile flashes across your face as well. This not only relaxes your body, but it can also lower your heart rate and blood pressure. S-MILE!

Originally from Iceland, but currently based in Denmark Fruit has made a name for himself in the Copenhagen club scene with his erudite DJing and live-sets. We’re stoked to have him on for our 23rd mix in the series, in anticipation of his forthcoming (and much hyped) third EP release this spring.

I met @hss-2 in Tokyo in Summer 2019, along with Yama, Takanori and Takashi. Hisashi was my first friend in Tokyo and he introduced me to the city's incredible nightlife. At the end of my time there he invited me to a party in a curry restaurant at the top of a skyscraper by the sea. One of the best nights of my life!
