This weeks guest DJ: Shimmy G. Shimmy G is a Berlin based DJ whose sound transforms into an energy that instantly takes over the crowd. Her signature mix of house, tribal and techno was first heard at underground raves in East London. She has since graced the decks of major clubs around the world, from the Ministry of Sound in London UK, Fly 2.0 in Toronto Canada, Projekt in Beirut Lebanon to Schwuz in Berlin Germany. She makes it impossible not to feel her electric vibes wherever she plays.

From fashion shows to dance-floors, her unique style is easily identifiable. On the turntables she is tremendously unrelenting !
She has played alongside Jérôme Isma-Ae, Portman, Phunk Investigation, Ken Ishii, Sébastien Léger, Chus & Ceballos, John Digweed, Industrialyzer, Towa Tei (Deee-Lite) , Nakadia, Vitalic, Paula Temple, Wouter de Moor, Miss Kittin and the Hacker to name but a few.
She has presided over the soirées of RECON UK, Gorillas (Italy), Kode (resident) Montréal, the Dépôt Paris, the Brutal fetish Week, and numerous line-ups at Cloakroom Invite.
Since 2018 she has been part of two Musical "electronic-mental" projects: Échappée belle and KMK7, with her partner, Dj Kamille Louis. Energy, precision and a sense of sharing are what are most appreciated and loved with each performance.
