Das ist eine Rekonstruktion meines Sets, das ich am 3. Mai 2025 bei „BASS to the ROOTS“ in der Alten Ziegelei – Ottrau gespielt habe.

Leider habe ich vergessen, die Aufnahme zu starten, daher habe ich den kompletten Mix zu Hause nachgebaut – gleiche Tracks, gleiche Energie.

This is a reconstruction of the set I played at „BASS to the ROOTS" @ Alte Ziegelei - Ottrau on May 3rd, 2025. 

Unfortunately, I forgot to hit record, so I recreated the full mix at home – same tracks, same energy.

Thanks to everyone who was there on the dancefloor – this one’s for you.

BASS to the ROOTS (Reconstructed-Set)

It begins with a signal. Faint, pulsing, distant – but impossible to ignore. Pt.1 of Ferrera’s Comet Session launches the series with a hypnotic fusion of Indie Dance textures and tight Rhythms. Sonic transmissions from deep space – this is where the story begins.

The Comet Session Pt.1 - Signal Received

Drawn by the distant signal, the crew slips deeper into space. Pt.2 of The Comet Session enters deep space – where grooves stretch like stardust and every synth echoes through the void.

The Comet Session Pt.2 - Astro Drift

Locked into the groove trajectory. Pt.3 of The Comet Session navigates deep rhythmic space with funk-infused drive and tightly spun patterns. Where gravity fades, the beat takes over — steady, hypnotic, and ready to move.

The drift was smooth — until it wasn’t. As the ship slips into an uncharted orbit, reality fractures. Geometry folds, time pulses, and the laws of physics unravel like old code. The crew begins to taste colors and hear shapes. Tones melt into textures. Emotions glitch.

This isn’t a hallucination. It’s something else. Something sentient. A field. A presence. The Comet is no longer under control.

The Comet Session Pt.4 - Dark Orbit


They felt it — a ripple, a break, a hidden code in the madness. The crew has found the source: a phantom signal buried in the waveforms. It wasn’t just chaos. It was design.

Behind the distortion: a cunning species manipulating perception, feeding illusions. But now the crew fights back — with rhythm, with pressure, with pure force of will.










The Comet Session Pt.5 - Phantom Trigger

After the assault against the alien force, the robot is depleted. His energy cells are drained, neural circuits overheated. The crew connects him to the Comet’s main core. Power surges through him as his system shuts down.

But even in sleep, there’s movement. Pattern. Repetition. An endless loop of tension, impulse and discharge. No thought. No dream. Just function.

The Comet Session Pt.6 - Recharge Protocol

After a journey through darkness, distortion, and unrelenting battles, the crew finally reaches the source of the mysterious signal.
But it’s not a distress call. It’s an invitation.

Orbiting a glowing – yet unstable – planet floats a colossal structure: an interstellar dance temple where thousands of alien beings lose themselves in hypnotic rhythms.
The species had learned of the Captain’s DJ mastery – and encoded the signal as a special guest invitation.
But time is short. Decades of energy extraction from the planet’s core to power the rave complex have destabilized its inner structure.
This will be the final night.
As the Comet lands, the Captain takes control. Systems sync with alien tech, the air begins to vibrate, and the crew becomes part of a farewell set that will echo across galaxies.
One last ecstatic eruption before everything dissolves.

Everything feels familiar, and yet their journey has changed the way they see it.
The sounds and music of home, once so ordinary—everything is recognizable, yet strangely different. Through the lens of their galactic voyage, they now resonate in a new light, as if returned from another dimension.

What follows is a dance through decades, a rediscovery of the familiar, illuminated by the unknown and by the new perspective shaped through adventure.

The Earth itself becomes the stage, and the crew bows before the beauty of their home.
For only from among the stars can one truly understand how unique it really is.

My roots in electronic music go deep into the eighties, when bands like Depeche Mode, Front 242, and Nitzer Ebb changed my world. The nineties pulled me even deeper into the club scene, with legendary nights at Aufschwung Ost in Kassel (later Stammheim) and the Omen in Frankfurt. At some point I found myself behind the decks, playing in various clubs and venues.

After a family break (yes, even DJs switch from basslines to diaper duties sometimes!), I’m currently spinning mostly for myself, with friends, and at small private parties—JUST FOR FUN!
