DTLA Radio - Placebo eFx Guest Mix - EP046

Mix submission for the Bond Street Community Mix Challenge. The prompt for this challenge was "Espresso Martini." Never having had an espresso shot or alcohol, I asked people around me what they thought about the drinks. The responses were mixed, so I guessed based on their taste and effect. The tracks are selected with consideration of how these substances might individually affect - a stimulant and a depressant. They make you feel energetic and relaxed. When combined, it’s a drink that offers an interesting interplay of tastes, with groovy and high-energy tracks blending smoothly, much like the texture of the completed drink. The groovy tracks also aim to reflect the sophistication that individuals experience when they order the drink. Hope you like it!
