Journey Into Madness

Today we welcome a duo to the team, which knows each other almost the whole live, almost like real brothers.

Their name is based on the French word Rameau, which means olive tree branch and further is the symbol of peace. Besides their melodic electronica sounds RAMMÖ is known for its their excellent MM mix series and the minimalistic, white object artworks (which we absolutely love!). They thought of it as a nice analogy to the way they make and think of music.

It was almost 10 years ago when the two friends moved from Southern France to Amsterdam and further developed their musical profile within the vibrant Dutch music community. RAMMÖ are also co-founders and residents of the respected Dutch collective Klassified Music. 

2019 will be an exciting year for RAMMÖ: one original track coming out on the next Klassified VA/compilation on Janurary 25th. RAMMÖ, by the way, will be mixing it. Further they’re about to announce gigs around the globe including an Asia tour. And there is more to come by this fantastic duo…

Welcome to the first double set post ever on our SoundCloud wall as we have uploaded a little insight in our Asia tour. We started exploring our new presence in Asia in Bali. 

The island of the gods, a place that we visited for the first time and that interestingly enough also showed us things inside ourselves for the first time.

@jose_noventa plays an eclectic set during @xericollective´s curatorial and art residency at Tekio. 

The sound. Authentically and undeniably linked to the being.
The colorful nomad Jose Noventa is a wild spirit and an old soul. Carved through the natural tendency to see beyond the superficial layers of life. The punky attitude and playful gaze with which he roams through the many places he calls home, provide smiles wherever he lands.
Born as a creator from his heart, music is one of his many tools to hit you, right in yours. Sculpting his broad musical background into a spiritual, deep, atypical, undergroundheartswing.

Jose materializes his life experiences through crafting electronic music, building solid creative structures and connecting strong hearted people globally. Carrying out his energy by deejaying for some of the biggest festivals in the world and establishing intimate
connections at small get-togethers. Creative collectives globally call him family, for he ties the bonds firm.
Roaming for records and vinyl is his opium, while learning and studying from computers and synthesizers ignite the musical scholar in him. Spending many days in music studios, he leaves aside the fashion and trends, creating a sound influenced by, but not exclusively; house, deep house, downtempo, disco, electronica, world music, hip-hop, soul, funk and dub.
