In essence, although being out there is fun for a while (through many years of experience) there is a need to re-engage with the you without a mind alterer, the you with only natural Brain chemicals, Dopamine, Seratonin etc. Then you realise the reason to get back is because that's where your life lives, and it's awesome. 

The alternative is to ignore the call of your life and 'try' and stay out there in happy, weird, kapow land, sometimes for years. Through personal experience this is not a good idea.
