I wrote the lyrics to this song after watching a movie called 'Angel Baby'. It's about a young couple, who both suffer with schizophrenia. They fall in love, she gets pregnant, so they and decide to go off their meds and as a result, their whole world starts to fall apart.
I have a family member who suffers with mental illness, so this is also, a very personal song.  
Cris came up with the guitar line, and we worked on the vocal melody together.

I was working in the Woo Han lab one night
On a deadly virus that gave me a fright 
A bat got loose and the virus escaped

This song questions the meaning of truth.

Truth is pacing…it wants to be free
True is restless, why can’t I see?
Is it out there or is it in here?
Am I a mirror, reflecting fear?
Truth is deceptive, and hard to find

Truth? The quality or state of being, true///that, which is in accordance with fact or reality/// A fact or belief, which is accepted as true
Truth? God? Fact? Bible? Reality? Belief?  Hmmm? I’m confused
Reality…a certainty…an actuality… 
Reality always seemed kind of subjective to me, and based in our perspectives which can be rather deceptive at times 
Belief… a religious faith
Faith…without demanding proof
Religion…a personal belief
Woo! This is starting to get really confusing 
Truth is starting to sound a little ambiguous to me
Faith; belief; proof; fact; religion; reality; verifiable; God?
OK, let’s reference the bible… Jesus said, 

“I am the way, the truth and the life”

Now I’m really confused, what is the truth?
Are God and the truth one in the same, and if there 
Was no God, would there be no truth?
How can we prove that God even exists?
This is a strange twist. So we base our truth on a
Foundation we can’t prove. And what about the truth seekers?
What are they searching for? Is there some ultimate truth,
That will be revealed to us someday? And if God is truth,
And God is love, does that mean truth is love? Hmmm?

Truth is pacing; it’s breaking free
Is truth waiting inside of me?
How ’bout compassion, and how ‘bout love
How ‘bout Christ and God above
How ‘bout the Buddha and Krishna too
