6/2021: I've always found Soundcloud to be beautiful because I can put a song online just because I feel it and come back weeks later to thousands of listens. I hope it helps you feel something. It's pretty cool how an iPhone voice memo, a guitar and a friend's basement studio can turn into a tune someone else may put on repeat. Music has always been my greatest love. And I love you all for listening even when I disappear (usually to write or live in order to write) I'll always come back around.

As we drove away from 12 Pines, the most energetic acoustic show I have ever played, I kept seeing in my mind two young people, cars packed full, pulling out of their driveways, leaving home to become a Bennie and a Johnnie for the first time. I got out a note pad and started writing their story, which of course was a love story. I recorded the song in my home the next day. I thought it would be make a nice thank you for a memorable night.
