Dj and producer that describes his work as dark, powerful and eclectic.
All of these elements leads him to constantly look for the evolution of his sound, acomplishing very dynamic sets, filled with melodies and acoustic textures that gets the dance floor from clubs and festivals moving, with a mixture that would go from Indie and Progressive, to even Techno.
Born in Mexico City, Mapiu was strongly influenced by New wave’s music and afterwards by all the 80’s and 90’s House and Techno. Captivated by the synth sounds, he starts his musical production in 2003 taking his career to the next level.
Mapiu leaves all his passion and talent for the music with the crowd on every show, beeing a proof of it, him paying all around the globe with his more than 30 years of expertice in the industry. In this new era he shows a modern, fashion and a fresh artist, always respecting his roots with his music.
