This pause is a walk.

This Walk is a Pause is a poetic sound piece in which the narrator invites the listener to walk along with her through both actual and mental landscapes -  Finnish pine forests, fields of exhaustion, tingling brain gums, the neighborhood, experiences of disorientation and comforting darkness - eventually arriving in a surrounding where walking offers a form of pausing.

​Exploring walking as a pausing practice, this piece asks which potential space might open if one steps aside from given pathways for a shorter or longer while: If pausing would be what you most need, what would you need it to be?

Nacida y criada en Santos (Baixada Santista, Brasil), Bonekinha @bonekinhairaquiana debutó en las pistas de baile con 18 años en marzo de 2019 con un set de funk nunca antes tocado en Santos. Con mucha influencia de los grandes bailes de São Paulo, especialmente del Baile de la 17, su set está compuesto por los diversos subgéneros del funk, siendo el underworld/witchcraft su marca de fábrica.

Junto con @mu540, @vhoor, @ramemes, Dj Kingdom y @jlzoficial, Bonekinha forma parte del proyecto @weirdbaile.


En febrero de 2024, por invitación de la gente de Baile Trama (Londres), Bonekinha realizó su primera gira internacional por Europa, visitando Lisboa (Portugal), París (Francia) y Londres (Inglaterra). En esta gira, dejó su huella con un set en una de las mayores emisoras de radio de Francia, Rinse France. Bonekinha también está en el recopilatorio FUNK.BR - SÃO PAULO de la mayor emisora de radio de Londres, NTS (donde también dejó un set), y su nombre ha aparecido en los mayores medios musicales como The Fader, Billboard BR, DJ MAG y periódicos como Veja SP.

Ha formado parte del line-up de las renombradas BOILER ROOM MTV, Batekoo SP, Perifa No Toque, Virada Cultural de São Paulo, Casa Natura Musical, Mamba Negra, entre otras. Ha participado en festivales como Batekoo Festival (SP) y Rock The Mountain (RJ). Ha compartido cartel con artistas como Tati Quebra Barraco, Deize Tigrona, Ebony, Tasha e Tracie, Mc Dricka, Mc Carol, Mc Naninha, Mc Luanna, Mu540 y Dj Caio Prince, entre otros grandes nombres del funk brasileño.
