Fayablow is an artist, songwriter and performer from Seine et Marne near Paris.
He grew up listening to the rap, hip-hop and reggae groups of the Nineties,
and has continued to follow the hip-hop culture and emerging trends ever
since.
His main influences are hip-hop, rap, dancehall, reggae and reggaeton.
He tries his hand at everything: he loves instruments and musicality,
and is particularly meticulous when writing and singing his lyrics,
to put as much of himself into his music as he can.
He has worked with Mapuche Records, Maladaman Rykord$ and Aelpeacha
Splifton at venues including the Maroquinerie, Batofar, Scène Bastille
and Dame de Canton.
His first project, 11 h 11, deals with emotions and relationships. It was produced
with 386 Lab and Mapuche Records, and blends various rap styles,
with passages both spoken and sung, and a touch of auto-tune.

(France), son univers a été bercé par les groupes de rap, hip-hop et reggae
des années 90. Il a suivi l’évolution de la mouvance hip-hop et des nouvelles
tendances jusqu’à aujourd’hui.
Le hip-hop, le rap, le dancehall, le reggae et le reggaeton, sont ses influences
principales. Touche-à-tout, il aime les instruments et la musicalité et attache
un soin particulier à l’écriture des textes et au chant pour créer des musiques
harmonieuses qui lui ressemblent.
Il a travaillé en collaboration avec Mapuche Records, Maladaman Rykord$
et Aelpeacha Splifton. Ensemble, ils ont partagé la scène dans des lieux
tels que la Maroquinerie, le Batofar, la scène Bastille et la Dame de Canton.
Son premier projet, intitulé « 11 h 11 », a été réalisé en collaboration
avec 386 Lab et Mapuche Records. Il fusionne divers styles de rap,
comprenant des éléments parlés et chantés avec une légère pointe
d’auto-tune, autour du thème des émotions et des relations aux autres.

It's not really about sonic resonance, but rather about altered memories and fantasized stories, but whose flavour evolves over time. Alta Resonancia showcases influences from Post-rock, AfroBeat, electronica and a bit of irony.

If you listen closely while sitting out in the back garden, you'll make some delightful discoveries, and backYardboy is one of them. The Barcelona-based French producer and instrumentalist is the latest addition to Mapuche Records and makes a dramatic entrance with his first EP. Six striking tracks do justice to the record's name, Algo Mareado ("a little dizzy"). Thrill-seekers will enjoy being transported to dizzying new heights by the dreamy reverb tinged with haunting rhythms that hark back to the artist's Beninese and Togolese origins. Although Algo Mareado is an essentially dub creation, attuned ears will certainly appreciate the variety of influences that can be heard in backYardboy's music. Infused expertly with ambient jazz, house and electronic notes, this is an EP that will bring elation to anyone looking for an out-of-body musical experience.
