Apsire is my "Breakout" track in the world of Music Production. Having 25 years of experience in DJing, it was finally time to pursue my life long dream and passion to produce music. I've always been moved by "Emotional, Euphoric, and Melodic" soundscapes in Electronic Music that takes the listener on a Journey as they listen. That's my inspiration and what I have "Aspired" to create and hence the name of my first track. I truly hope that anyone listening to my production is moved by the track and taken on a journey through the soundscapes of my creation. Hope everyone listening enjoys the track as much as I did creating it.

This is the live set I played at Tresor in Berlin, November, 2003. The gig was organised by the head honcho at Framework. I had done a remix for The Aphorism (which Dave Clarke quite liked) and the track "Feeling It" had been released on the "We Pledge Allegiance" EP (https://www.discogs.com/master/1147958-Various-We-Pledge-Allegiance). My "Heaven" EP was due for release on Framework in 2004 (https://www.discogs.com/release/236688-Blimp-Heaven-EP) so this set was a promo for that release. The set also features releases from my Pro-Jex EP, "EQUIP" (https://www.discogs.com/master/719322-Blimp-Equip-EP), 2001. God bless the Germans, for they do love their techno - the harder, the better:) As for what has been done to this recording, it has been run through a compressor, that's all. The flanging you hear in the breakdowns was done live. All the filtering was done live. All the vocals were prerecorded. All these tracks were 8 bar loops, sequenced by two Roland MC500s, synched, and I arranged them live, using my Mackie mixer as an editing tool. Old Skool.
