Here is my opening set for Loco Dice at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco on Friday June 20th. Its mostly minimal techno with a housey groove and dark, trippy sounds/effects on CDJs no synch button, all professionally spun. 

Some other DJ threw in some vocals on my set while I was at a bathroom break which really pissed me off. So if you hear vocals that don't belong there, or are not synched well, I apologize! That was not me, I would never do it like that... ugghhhh!! other than that the mix was quite great. Track list to come soon.

Ahead of our second residency date at BASE Dubai, our longtime BPM familia member, Nathan Barato, brings us a 60-minute cut of his set from our YA'AH MUUL takeover at Warung Beach Club last month! Carving out his reputation as a leader in the Toronto afterhours scene, nowadays Nathan can often be found in Ibiza at Jamie Jones' Paradise and Marco Carola's Music On parties. Not only just versatile on the decks, Nathan's genre-bending approach in the studio has landed his productions on labels ranging from Nicole Moudaber's MOOD, Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations.

Having played over five editions of The BPM Festival, we couldn't be more excited to have him go b2b with fellow Toronto native Carlo Lio on March 8 at BASE Dubai along with Nic Fanciulli.

Biography

Born in Barcelona (Spain) and raised in Sitges, a small town near Barcelona were night life was very popular in the 80's and 90's. There Mar-T got all the interest for electronic music, especially in L'Atlantida Club. DJ and producer since 1995, he is a perfect connoisseur of the dance floors of half the world due to his residency since 1999 in Amnesia Ibiza. This has given him enough experience to be able to adapt to any dance floor without any concessions. His dj sets expose his hedonist and sensual spirit, and knows how to create an atmosphere full of good vibrations due to his sane eclecticism that takes him to mix all aspects of electronic music with great results.
