Our latest premiere is now online featuring a track titled 'Cause You Asked For It' by Cuban artist Åre:gone on his forthcoming self release  EP 'Canción De Despedida'.

A very personal release, loaded with intense emotions and omens... each track tells a story, a moment, those feelings that we cannot avoid so easily. 

It is a parenthesis to immortalize a memory and at the same time the closing of a period very well lived. Although there may be four tracks, if you listen carefully, they are also one. 

Out of the four tracks, 'Cause You Asked For It' is the more visceral and physical track that uses the classic rhythmic pattern of Techno oriented for clubs and other venues.

Mexican imprint Illegal Alien has produced some of the finest techno available, and as well as its owner Ricardo Garduno leading the charge, it has seen inclusions from Perc, Stanislav Tolkachev, Xhin, and Brendon Moeller.

With his releases on Tresor, Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, and Bas Mooy’s Mord, to mention a few, Jonas Kopp remains a pioneer and a never-ending fountain of ideas combined with a keen sound exploration.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is the title production named “Rebelión Sideral” that kicks off with a perfect mix of tough percussion and chopping, electro-style stabs. The powerful groove is later met with haunting, metallic screeches and twisted, robotic vocals giving it a darker edge that will no doubt be a sonic experience for a smoky club environment.

Biography:

Swedish based deejay and techno producer Markus Axelsson aka MarAxe, has established himself as one of the top techno exports from the Swedish techno scene. With over 750 tracks released since 2020, he became one of the top 10 best-selling hard techno producers of 2024, making a significant impact on the scene! His productions are hard with classic hardgroove and hypnotic influences and he has had a slew of releases entering both Beatport and the Juno download charts. Senga Ep, released on Planet Rhythm (2023), made nr 1 on the Juno download bestseller chart aswell as his release Zulu Ep (2024) on Hydraulix. 

Ever since he was featured on the NL 500 compilation from Naked Lunch records early 2020, he has had releases out on a variety of labels such as Hydraulix, Naked Lunch, Planet Rhythm, Soma, Sway, Suara, Kne´Deep, Remain records - Just to name a few. As a deejay his style reflects the music he creates and he has been featured on both international aswell as domestic events sharing the stage with Axel Karakasis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Deas, Aida Arko, Speedy J and more!
