Marking a decade on France’s bass-heavy underground, Noizion Recordz fires off French Ruff, a 15-track compilation that serves as a rough mirror to the polished French Touch's sound. Rather than rejecting that heritage, it reflects its glossy surfaces back through a prism of grit, weight and sub-low physicality—capturing the raw energy that has fuelled the label since day one.

Across the compilation, deep dubstep pressure, smouldering UKG mutations, and rattling breakbeats unfold with a cinematic sense of space. It’s music built for concrete floors, late-night fog, and sound systems pushed deep into the red.

French Ruff reads less like a retrospective than a statement of identity. Ten years in, Noizion Recordz stands confidently in its own reflection—gritty, immersive, and fiercely dedicated to the ruff edges of French bass music.
