The tracks here are the product of an unusually productive period, around 2011-12, of writing and recording very casually and intuitively with a view to creating a bank of ideas to revisit at a later date. Now, though, I feel that these recordings, whilst rough and full of mis-steps, stand quite nicely on their own merit, though patient, forgiving ears will undoubtedly get the most out of them. Each is a semi-improvised first take recorded on a Samsung Digimax A402.
