now three children and a lifetime later, you're telling me were through
you said you changed, and there was nothing you could do
and now you're telling me that you don't
but i still do

   i promised to take you for my wife, to love you and to sacrifice                      
   and try and make your every dream come true
   i promised to be faithful, to love you and protect you 
   and dedicate my entire life to you 
   for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, 
   all i had in this world,  i gave to you 
   and now you're telling me that you don't, 
   but i still do
   
all that's left are pictures and the memories in my mind
left here wondering what went wrong, everything was fine
you said you changed, into somebody new
well three hearts are praying that you change 
back from i don't to i do

Another Christmas Poem

It’s the night before Christmas, and in my house.
The music was blasting and, you can’t stop this shout.
Our tree has a lean, from all that OG bling.
But you wonder, did I forget anything.

The children are upstairs, tucked in their beds,
While the grown folks played with their toys instead ...
No more ribbons, No more bows, at last, we’re all out.
Sounds of bumping, will they believe, it’s the big man moving about.

It’s Just another, Christmas poem, Christmas Poem.

And then I heard my doorbell ring.
Someone called the Po Po on our Christmas swing.
But still in our merriest measure,
We opened up our house, full of our treasures.

From the top of the roof, there came such a BOOM!
It’s just the DJ dropping the beat, on my favorite tune.
Old-school, popping and locking, and there go’s that new hip. 
Come on heart let’s get a grip, who’s that guy, in those fly red threads?

Now Mr. Red Threads is floating all over the space,
He’s splattered glitter all over our place.
I got one more thing I need to say. 
Before the beat drops! ( Boom, Boom )and you try to get away.

That’s right, take out some trash before I turn off the lights.
But at the front of the house, I swore I could hear.
Above all that tires squeal, I’M OUT, like a drive-by cheer,
From the front seat of his drop-top bright red “Olds 88.”

And then I heard, and this was no misfire. 
“Good Christmas” —— growled his V8.
Above the peddle pumps, so loud and clear.
“Peace and love to you all,” until next year.
