Austin a California Native and DJ Tony Touch a New York native have come together to create an album with musical elements and sound from both East Coast and West Coast for the underground music culture around the world. This album came to be as Austin would frequent Tony's underground house dance party Funkbox NYC when visiting New York City in turn bringing Austin and Tony Touch to work on new music together creating their album CaliYork, a new body of work with house, r&b/hiphop and dance elements.

Just finished messing with this. Thought the King of the Beats instrumental was crying out for a classic hip-hop vocal over the top of it. I managed to get an album full of Public Enemy acapellas which sat really well over the first part of the track  but the second half wouldn't work. As I think happens with a lot of bootlegs through musical knowledge you end up with a vocal in your mind that works (it may only work for you though!) Lot's of chopping up of the guitar, vocals and plenty of delay and et voila! 

Hope you like, it's not perfect but I like the glitches as opposed to making them shiny gleaming produced tracks which they were never designed for. Let me know what you think.
