In 2003, he left Quebec and crossed the Atlantic to settle in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2006, he discovered the art of mixing and developed a limitless love for electronic music. In 2016, he became the founder of the OVERLOOP label to organize quality events to highlight emerging artists. With time, he became a key DJ of the Lausanne nightlife with his unique style. Driven by Downtempo, Deep House, Tech House and Techno, Pascal is always on the lookout for new sounds. His goal is to distill melodious, airy and energetic music in order to share the best possible vibrations. Come and discover his universe located between playful rhythms and round and powerful sonority.

This mix is a recording of a set I played live at Indigenous Frequency, a outdoor festival put together by Gasmic Audio and Naarbeats Productions, at a beautiful setting near a dam on a farm just outside my hometown of Pietermaritzburg. 

It had been almost a year since any of us had flicked some proper hoof on the dancefloor. The sun was setting, the full moon was rising and everyones bottled up energy from being locked down was bouncing off eachother on the dance floor.

Fire extinguishers didn't quite cut it, we had get the fire department on standby for this one.

It took me a while after having moved to another country and a change in my personal life to find the inspiration and consistent workflow again. I am getting closer and closer and part of the consistency was creating this podcast for you. The first track I have loved for many years now and always wanted to do something with it, thanks Francesca for sharing the original with me. I finally felt inspired to grab it and give it some AC flavour. It's always a proces to create a journey with musical tracks, where I am trying to bring that timelessness, balance and surprise in there. It's probably the same proces as writing a book.
