Astral Records continues a strong start by welcoming Paul Angelo and Don Argento to the label for their first EP. Hailing from Cyprus, the much loved duo have been regular contributors to parent label Movement Recordings, having appeared there seven times since making their debut in 2017. Often walking the line between melodic house and techno and progressive house, Paul and Don have become fixtures in Beatport's sales charts of late with a string of impressive outings via Clubsonica Records, Timeless Moment and UV. Now making a welcome debut on Astral, the duo presents a three-track showcase entitled 'Icarus'. 

Working well with the label's ethos Paul and Don lean closer to the melodic house and techno side of their studio repertoire. The title selection 'Icarus' sets the tone with a pulsating, hypno groove and a simple yet foreboding arp. Stripped and tense in equal measure, the duo build drama across the first act with rising modulation, percussive splashes and a backdrop of prophetic pads. Opening up during the main break, a wave of atmospheric swells rises momentarily, gently teasing the senses before getting pulled back in favour of the deliberate groove and meditative structures. 

'Daedalus' follows with a further lean towards astral techno territory. Although perhaps best known for their peak time creations the track furthers the sentiment that Paul and Don are equally adept at crafting more subtle, refined selections. Smooth and rhythmic in all the right ways, spacious percussion and cosmic arps descend over the rippling foundation, as haunting overlays add colour and texture at opportune moments. Expanding across a one-minute centrepiece, trippy synth clusters sit at the emotional core of the track, elevating mood before eventually getting washed away in favour of the main arp and a compact groove.

Rounding out the release is 'Phaethon' which finds Paul and Don exploring another unique amalgamation of techno grooves and astral aesthetics. Backed by a rippling foundation and tight rhythms, it's fluid drive quickly becomes infectious. Billowing stabs and trailing effects offset each other nicely, as the romping beats build momentum across the first act. Icy tones strike at opportune moments leading into the main break, adding additional depth as its hypnotic drawl saturates your senses during a dramatic final movement. It rounds out a superb Astral Records debut for Paul and Don, who continue to expand their creative scope with the 'Icarus' collection.

Julian Wassermann is back on Einmusika with a new diverse EP. "Malva" is technoid and straight forward with just the right amount of melodic sounds and stabs next to huge drum fills and a strong beat. "Talisman" is more calm and has simple yet very catchy main hookline with a reduced groove. "Beneath The Surface" is a warm and wide old-school breakbeat tune interpreted with a modern approach.

One of the biggest surprises of last year was the debut of the duo SPALAMP on our label.  Their sound perfectly fits the image of Truesounds Music and we got a ton of great feedback after the release of their highly successful Explore EP. 

We knew right away that our cooperation will continue and now they are back on the label with another great release. 

Don’t Push Me feat. Nico Leivo is a superb track that is dark, melancholic but full of emotions and passion. The wonderful vocal makes this melodic ballade complete. 

The remixers did not have an easy job, but we are very happy with the results.
 We are more than thrilled to welcome Ron Flatter (TRAUM, Ritter Butzke, Hive Audio) on the label.  The exact quality and sound you would expect from him. He took this deep track and transformed it into a light, happy tune. We think this is a perfect closing track for a set, guaranteed to leave a strong impression on the crowd. 

We also have a No Distance remix in the pack. After the success of Explore, the more and more popular duo is presenting another hot, peak time melodic house & techno banger.

The third remix comes from Justrice (Oddity, Analisar Music). This time he made a more restrained, dark atmospheric remix in the usual high quality. Solid groove, theatrical break, and great melodies are the features of this track.

Klaudie drops an impressive debut single Serenade For Strings on Rony Seikaly’s influential Stride label.

Klaudie spent her childhood playing the violin and was deeply moved by the compositions of Antonín Dvořák. His melodies were the first to show her that music could carry the weight of memory, longing and identity and inspire her to create her own sound which inventively weaves that classical emotion into deep house grooves.

Says Klaudie, "This track is more than a song—it’s a piece of my history. A tribute to the music that shaped me, to my Czech roots, and to the little girl who found herself in strings and symphonies. It’s a bridge between centuries, between tradition and the world I now live and play in. What makes this moment even more meaningful is that it’s being released on Rony Seikaly’s label, Stride. Rony is not only someone I’ve long admired for his artistry and vision—he’s someone who saw the heart behind this track and gave it a home."

The wonderful Serenade For Strings is a deep and lush sound with far-sighted synths and liquid pads that make for a soft, comforting mood. Klaudie's signature strings elevate the whole thing with symphonic qualities and emotional grandeur that will make an in edible impact in the club. Add in a rolling, hypotonic baseline and you have an irresistible track.

Serenade For Strings its a highly accomplished first tune from Klaudie and one that suggests she is going to be one of the breakout producers of 2025.

Julian Wassermann and Raphael Mader join forces to present their debut ¨Aversion¨ EP on Oddity. The collaboration between the two Munich based producers, is the first one signed to the label, showcasing 4 beautiful melodic tracks, and an emotive but energetic remix by the talented Artche.

The EP opens with the lead track ¨Aversion¨ where you can listen to the detailed work, sound design and catchy melodies that the two producers print to their productions, starting with the right foot in one of the most interesting collaborations yet on the label.

Going deeper into the EP, Julian and Raphael present us ¨Panic¨ and ¨Moment of Clarity¨ where they dig deeper into the realm of pads and melodies, creating two emotive pieces with catchy arpeggios, leads and profounds ambiences.

Artche jumps into the remix duties, reworking ¨Moment of Clarity¨ into a more groovy and energetic cut, still preserving the emotional elements, but printing his stamp into the rework.

To close the pack, the guys show us the more minimalistic cut ¨Panic¨ where the vocal cuts plays with the percussive elements and synths, creating a dance floor peak time groover.
