For 10 years now Solomun's Diynamic Records have been all about releasing, partying, thinking ahead and doing it yourself. Born in the heart of Hamburg’s St. Pauli neighbourhood, now home in virtually every corner of the world.

The beginning of the adventure dates back even further, to the year 2003, when the clique around Solomun introduced their DIY party series in Hamburg. 2006 saw the founding of the music label Diynamic, followed by the opening of infamous EGO club in Hamburg’s red light district St. Pauli in
Anyone who has met Diynamic mainstays will know that there is a close bond between them, a bond that not only exceeds that of label mates, but resembles the qualities of family members. So how do you commemorate such a special event? 10 Years Diynamic

Ost & Kjex - Heatwave

Adriatique have revealed the very first release to come out on their brand new label, Siamese. The three-track EP from the duo, entitled ‘Patterns of Eternity’, will be released on the 14th October, with presales already live.

The title track, running at 11 minutes long, is a hypnotic journey driven by layers of synth lines, with a powerful low end. Meanwhile, ‘Womb’ on the B-side is a darker, more uncompromising affair. Built for the dancefloor, the track has already been a success on the club circuit.

Final track ‘Quadrivia’ channels the minimal influences that the duo cite as an inspiration, yet features the classic characteristics of Adriatique’s production style; a detail-orientated focus on the layering and dropping away of percussion and a bassline built for the best club sound systems.

This debut EP on the new label is just the start of a new chapter for Adriatique; the Siamese project is a shared dream for them both. Although it is first and foremost a music label, the duo envision Siamese opening up to a broad variety of arts, providing a home for boundary-pushing creatives of various genres.

‘Glutes’ is peak-time material without being overly fast or chaotic, the energy instead coming from the transportive arrangement and emotive melodic content. The same can be said for Bäumel’s ‘Surge’ on Kompakt, an anthem in the sets of Tale Of Us last year which led to this release.

The title track rises and falls, surging with wide-sweeping synth notes and a steady rhythm to anchor the waves. An infectious refrain pulls you further in and, right on cue, the kick drum continues to beat the sweet spot. ‘Engage’ is filled with similarly subtle details, uplifting arpeggios and atmospheric reverb. Half-way through the melody bursts into life, shining brightly through the haze and creating one of those moments of release that make the Afterlife sound work so well on a dancefloor.

So this time we’ll bring ya „J’oublie“ remixed by Olivier Giacomotto - a big dancefloor number. Dave Seaman remixed Tim Engelhardt’s “Vega“ and this one stays in your mind for hours. 3000 Grad founder Mollono.Bass comes with a new version of “Multiple Life“ by Einmusik - one for the hot nights and the festivals around the globe. We asked Julian Wassermann about his fave Einmusika track and he picked “La Danse Du Scorpion“ by Sébastien Léger - the one which made the clubs shaking in 2017 and is now putted to the next level with a darker attitude and clubby sounds. Emotional and uplifting comes Paji’s version of “Starlings“ by N’to, what an unique remix - individual and spheric.
