Back on Stil vor Talent after contributing a banging remix to Oliver Koletzki and Fritz Kalbrenner's 'Heart on Hold' a few months ago, Bulgarian producer Pavel Petrov turns in his debut solo transmission for us, 'Parallel'. Comprised of two cuts that give full vent to his epic-sized vision and monumental buildups, Petrov's newest bridges the gap between frontal sonic assault and a sensorially effervescing sound design. As cascades of pumped up Italo arpeggios and languid pads mingle in a cosmic symphony of sorts, 'Parallel' opens up a portal to some unknown clubbing dimension, where a brooding, near-dystopian atmosphere crosses swords with hypermodern EBM brutalism and grime-informed vox sampling. Berlin-based producer Kaufmann unveils her powerful new single “Mother” on VOLTA Records. This evocative release is accompanied by two standout remixes from Tao Andra and Mila Journeé, each bringing a distinct vibe to the energetic original.

“The vocal is undoubtedly at the centre of the track,” Kaufmann explains. “I took inspiration from a well-known System of a Down track and placed the mother at the heart of the story. It's actually my own voice, which I processed with AI, among other tools. I wanted to combine the energies of my favourite genres: techno with some psy and a pinch of metal."

Tao Andra’s remix takes the track into hypnotic, tribal-influenced techno terrain, while Mila Journeé lends her signature melodic touch with a cinematic, driving reinterpretation.

“This is my second time releasing with VOLTA Records,” says Mila Journeé. “The first was a two-track EP that did really well, and now I'm back with a remix of a really cool track by Kaufmann, at the invitation of Victor, a great friend and production partner who I love working with. So it's all about good music, friendship and good vibes!”

Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh – His transcendent touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

Last but not least we have a remix courtesy of Arash Shadram, who delivers a trademark deep melodic mix with infectious chords, intense drums and smooth breakdown. It's all about the groove, cool melodic vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Arash Shadram's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. 

With 'Arizona' William Medagli, Thallulah & Shemsu really show that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments!
