Over fifteen years since the launch of SVT, August 2021 will see us celebrate an important milestone with the release of our 300th instalment. For the occasion, we gathered the most solid cast of fellow music partners, either old chaps or new faces to the label’s far-reaching catalogue of sound. Covering the widest spectrum, from purely floor-dedicated weaponry to off-piste meanderings, through hybrid explorations and hi-velocity momentums, this triple package pledges to exhibit our stance and direction as a witness of our - musical - era.

Clocking in at first position on the triad’s debut volume, label habitué Sam Shure serves up a hi-pressure, Middle-Eastern-flavoured club epic for the opener. Oozing a strong mix of frankincense, myrrh and thick-boned EBM-friendly punch, the track reels out as a hypnotic fractal tailored to catch everyone in its sticky web of bass-heavy gimmicks. Back after their debut LP, “Symbiosis”, released earlier this year on SVT, Buenos-Aires outfit Brigado Crew joins forces with Ubbah on a monster vocodized chugger headed for outer space.

SKALA follows up with the deeply atmospheric “Voices of Eqi”, a track merging brooding spectrality, obsessive synth hooks and truly pumping dynamics. Longtime friends and collaborators Hidden Empire contribute a slice of their instrumentally rich and nuanced buildups with the hair-raising “Baba Ghanoush”, whilst Arnas D & Lake Avalon treat us to a feverish roller-coaster of a tune with the earwormy “Cordial”, all in muscular bass arpeggios, pop-infused vocals and nostalgia-drenched melodic counterpoints. 

Shifting the scope towards more syncopated material, Aurka’s “Pyrolisis” sends us off into upper spheres of consciousness with a sensitive melange of keen distortions a la James Holden and Border Community fam alike, and further spacious, non-formulaic minimalism. A straight-out club-focused affair, Henri Bergmann’s "Mercura” aims for nothing but to trigger utter communicative ecstasy amongst ravers and dreamers, whereas the opening episode’s closer “Deion”, courtesy of Boy Next Door, cranks up the speed a notch further with its fast-hitting deployment of stadium-sized synth lines and end-to-end hectic, yet erogenous crescendo.

The label head of Uxoa Dutxa Elite is back with new sound material, Di Rugerio presents an interesting and powerful EP of three tracks oriented to Melodic Techno, a significant release called XXX that alludes to his 30th birthday.

To start we have XXX that begins with a hypnotic sequence with a slight tension in the background pad creating an atmosphere between darkness with an energetic Techno rhythm while melodic riffs appear that evolve in the automation of its filters, leading the track and inviting you to the mind of its creator.

Elevatio is a track that begins with the danceable bassline sequence accompanied by majestic and recondite atmospheres in the background giving entry to a simple synthesizer sequence that will elevate you to ethereal worlds with the melody that arises from a new synthesizer that is slightly arpeggiated and with its filters altered at every moment giving it a greater mystery and always amalgamated with the characteristic rhythm of Di Rugerio.

Invictus is a track that maintains the mystical and dark energy with a powerful and robust kickdrum accompanied by a bassline sequence with a progressive style making it contagious and energetic while the melodic riffs are abstract and with an arpeggiated sequence in the background that accompanies and that It continues to be dynamic in its synthesizer filters until a new synthesizer emerges with a colossal and futuristic sound within an imposing rhythm of Melodic Techno.

Without a doubt, a great exceptional work by Di Rugerio that will be playing in the dancefloors and being well received by the lovers of our music.

Next up, 'Hearing Voices' confidently tacks into a minimalistic yet decisive groove, a banquet best served at the club's massive communal table. The immense lead comes forward and takes over, demanding obedience. This is a captivating, highly electric work that remains organic and approachable even at enormous sound pressure levels.

Following up to his 2020-released sophomore album "Idiosynkrasia", Tim Engelhardt reemerges on Stil vor Talent with his new single, "Firestorm". Putting forth the widescreen poetic vision that has been flowing across his previous releases with an ever-fresh and adventurous approach, this Janus-faced new iteration from Tim fuses two distinct facets of the producer's output - one darker, more subdued, the other out-there and solar. 

Rolling hips with unabashed swagger, "Momentary" paves the way with a balanced mix of martial marching rhythms and floating keyboard melody tinged with a touch of Oriental chords. Slowly but surely hatching into a bespoke big-room churner as bars run by, the track offers moments of graceful escapism while steadily fanning the groove's flames so the fire doesn't go out, ever. Subtle yet grandiose, a piece of masterly executed electronics that definitely lacks no emotional power of agility. 

Draped in opaque shades of neo-classical harmonics, blazing with poignant violins, folk-pop-laced vocals and next-gen synth wizardry, the lead-track "Firestorm" oozes an ambiguous mix of dynamic strength and spiralling melancholy. A suspended moment unmoored by time and space, this is music to shiver and dream your life away to, equipped with the right amount of bass and club-focused assets to have any dance floor zoning out in its own cozy bubble of nostalgia-fuelled resilience.
