The Marc Golde Band "The Highest High"

This is a bitter jilted lover song. It was inspired by early 1960s tragic-rock songs like "Remember (Walking in the Sand)" "Leader of the Pack" and Elvis Costello's "Just Like Candy".

It features Erik Edwards on drums and Tom Thiel on guitar. I played keyboards, bass, guitar and lead vocals.

This is probably my favorite composition. 

The Marc Golde Band "Fed Up"

This song was inspired by the death of Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. I felt so bad for all the Deadheads that spent their whole lives following the band and the hippy ideal, only to find themselves in their 40s with not job skills and no future. Little did I know that Phish was right around the corner.

This was basically a demo that I'd planned on rerecording, but I was talked into keeping
 as-is.

That's Greg (The Hammer) Thiel on drums and I played all the other instruments.

I'll have to admit, I was a little upset when _______ left me and went back to her a@@H*!$ ex-boyfriend. I thought the lyrics would fly under the radar, but no... Her friends knew exactly who I was singing about and I was busted. We're good friends, now. This is water waaaay under the dam.

I just adore Dennis Shepherd's guitar playing on this one. It sounds like I was listening to a little too much Sting when I penned this one.
