A song written over a year and a half travelling around Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia around 2017.

It brings back memories of fascinating people and places, while itself being about memories of home after being away for a long period.

This version is played on a 12 string acoustic.

Little Welsh Town

This is a song I wrote whilst thinking about the amount of towns and villages that are in danger of becoming "ghost towns" under current conditions.  

In my head, I was picturing a one-pub village beneath the Moors that has a row of streetlights with only 2 working.  
The song looks through the window of the old tavern and sees an empty glass on the bar covered in cobwebs and dust.  The zebra crossing now only sees 1 person a day and there are no businesses left.

More than anything, it's a warning and a hope that towns I love won't end up this way but we can all see there is a real danger of it happening.
