This is the initiation of what we hope to continue - shooting techno / melodic techno / progressive / house / melodic house sets in the beautiful areas of Qatar. In our first edition, we are showcasing Lusail city in the FJ8 residential tower viewing the outstanding Katara Towers. Djs LAYMOON and the talented Marc Matar joined forces with leading videographer Youssef Yousry in bringing you a high energy B2B techno set packed with analog sounds, fat synths and drops beyond description. The techno scene in Qatar is developing with the help of local Djs and producers and we hope to showcase these talents.

John MIn was born and raised in Orestiada, Greece.Starting as a raver soon learnt he wanted to be on the other side of the booth, playing his music to large crowds.
Always on the lookout for new sounds and music, he soon began to DJ, discovering the full range of electronic dance music.At this point he started his own career releasing his first tracks on labels such as Soleid Records,Vagabond,Zero10 records among others.

Working with various clubs, events, and festivals and sharing the booth with some of the greatest local DJs like: CJ Jeff, Junior Pappa, Thodoris Triantafillou, G-Pal, Echonomist, Luis Junior, Mariano Mellino + more.Whereas he is organizing his own underground events under the name "Switch On The Night”.

John is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussions to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. It’s all about devotion to the sound and a restless quest for the groove that will make everyone move.While his style may vary somewhere between underground Tech House and Techno, he never compromises on quality.

BIO:
Ane is a DJ and producer of electronic music, living in northern Poland where, surrounded by the Tuchola Forest, she creates electronic music of varied uses - from performance and video art, through dance, to 3D mapping. In her tracks she incorporates recordings of ambient sounds combined with synthesizers as well as ethnic and folk instruments from all around the world.
All of her sets comprise a careful selection of tracks, always telling a story which has to be listened to from the beginning to the end. Growing up with the sounds of Tresor’s dark techno and the 90’s house music, she has ended up mixing techno, Detroit house, afro house, and deep house in her 120-126bpm sets. She has always been fascinated by technical bass, deep vocals, tribal sounds with ethnic melodies, and instrumental music, all being inseparable elements of her work. As a music workshop instructor cooperating with several cultural institutions, she passes her love of music onto young people. She has released six EPs and remixes for Ayako Mori and BMD. Her track ‘Unsettling’ was included in the WMC compilation from Cubek Records in Colombia. Between 2016-2018 she co-created the UHA UHA music project with Kępisty sisters, which combined electronic and acoustic music (vibraphone, cello, and vocal). The result of their collaboration is the "Lazy day" EP released by the German label Nachtwandler Records. As part of her artistic scholarship, she released three tracks based on field recording in 2019. 2019 also saw the release of her first vinyl, "Od snu na jawę" [From dreams to reality]. All the releases are to be available in digital format on XLNT Records in 2020.
