Poverty at a young age and witnessing violence throughout his life injected an intrinsic darkness into the thoughts of Marc Mavri¢k. Sometimes referring to himself as "Black Mask Mav," one can only imagine a handful of implications an alter ego name like that carries.

The Manhattan born lyricist has a hypnotizing delivery draped in an unconventional intellect clearly compiled from a life in the streets, riddled with crime and gripped by incarceration. His melodies carry the listener into his dim and ominous world, granting an artistic view from behind the mask.
